"I was the first! I have seen everything!"

This section archives a lot of theories and speculation, which usually occurs from pre-release media, or just things that are still unknown, so please keep that in mind while reading. The page will continue to be updated with the most accurate information as more solid evidence is supplied.

"Uh, I think the name was... Wirelock Suits or something like that."

Wirelock Suits has not been given an official name; as such, this name is purely conjectural. However, it will be used until an official name is released.

WitheredRATCATCam12

The wirelock hybrid animatronics (The Rat and The Cat) appearing on CAM 14 together from Five Nights at Candy's 2.

The Wirelock Animatronics are the first generation of animatronic performers in the Five Nights at Candy's series. They were created in 1961 originally as costumes but were retrofitted into animatronics in 1962 after a fatal incident involving the costumes' performers. Following yet another incident, this being an animatronic attack on a young boy, they were discontinued in favor of more advanced animatronic models.

Physical Appearance[]

The existing Wirelock Suits barely have any features, with a plain colored body and limbs. The Rat is more tan in color, as The Cat is beige. They have masks that replicate the animals they are based on and have black eyeholes. Their endoskeletons are very detailed, and feature 5 fingers just like the Springlock Suits from the main Five Nights at Freddy's Franchise. They have pin joints and spiked limbs, possibly for the suit to perfectly fit the Endo and connect to it.

Functionality[]

Originally, in the 1960s, they were used by actors as costumes to entertain children. Later, after the death of the actors, they were taken to Rowboatics Corp. Factory where Endoskeletons were placed into them, rendering them as true animatronics.

Animatronics[]

The Rat[]

Main article: The Rat

The Rat is a unique and discontinued mascot at the Rat & Cat Theater. After the shutdown of the theater, The Rat was sent to the Candy's Burgers & Fries Restaurant alongside Blank the Animatronic and Old Candy but was never used and left in a secret room. He was later decommissioned and sent to the Rowboatics Corp. Factory, where he was left to rot. He is possessed by the vengeful spirit of the actor who was killed inside the Rat.

The Cat[]

Main article: The Cat

The Cat is the precursor to Candy the Cat and is a mascot at the Rat & Cat Theater, alongside the Rat and Vinnie. His suit was never used outside the Theater and met the same fate as the Rat. His suit is possessed by the vengeful spirit of the actor who died inside the Cat.

Trivia[]

  • The wirelock animatronics have similar aspects to the springlock animatronics of the original Five Nights at Freddy's continuity, as both animatronic models were designed as fully-functional animatronics and wearable costumes in each mode.
    • However, Emil deconfirms any connection between the two animatronic models in response to people who thought that the Rat is a springlock suit.[1]
      • Instead, the wirelock animatronics are more similar in design to the Mediocre Melodies, both being primitive animatronics controlled through external wires and machinery.
