"I repeat, the classic suits are not to be touched, activated or worn."
This article refers an idea or a list of content that has been scrapped out for various reasons. |
This is a list of unused and removed content from Five Nights at Freddy's 3.
Decompiled Content[]
The Puppet[]
Found in the game files are the leftovers of the Puppet's sprites from the second game, including its hallucination renders. The sprites can also be found in the troll game's files.
Seal Vent Text[]
There is an unused piece of text saying "Seal Vent", which would have been for a button that was likely going to be used to seal the vents. In the final game it was replaced with double clicking the vent camera.
The table from the "SAVE THEM" minigame[]
There is an unused table from the FNaF 2 minigame SAVE THEM. It's probably just a left-over.
7th Night Text[]
There is a text texture for the game's scrapped 7th night.
Alternate 2nd Night Text[]
There is an alternative image for the 2nd Night text when starting a game, where it is colored green like the first night's text.
Springtrap's Mobile Screen[]
Upon initial release of the original mobile edition, the pre-menu screen shows the image of Springtrap with his mouth hung open while staring down. The image was ultimately removed when Clickteam LLC released a full remastered update patch for the game.
Lives Leftovers[]
Like in the second game, this game contains the leftovers of the first game's scrapped Lives mechanic. There is a piece of text saying "Lives" and a pixel stick-figure with its arms outstretched.
Demo Leftovers[]
Similar to two previous games, some leftovers from the demo are found in the full version's files. The "Demo Ext" text is taken from the extended edition of the second game's demo and eventually can be found within the troll version's game files.
Pre-Release Content[]
Unfinished Monitor Map[]
In two of the Steam screenshots before the game's release, the Monitor map is unimplemented with vent paths along with both the "Play Audio" and "Map Toggle" button. However, when the audio button is used in the final game, a set of dots appears on the screen during the cooldown period before the player can use the audio again, suggesting that the feature was likely implemented, just concealed behind the dots for the screenshots.
Night Counter and Time[]
In the Steam screenshots before the game's release, the night counter and the time are completely absent.
