"I repeat, the classic suits are not to be touched, activated or worn."
This article refers an idea or a list of content that has been scrapped out for various reasons. |
This is a list of unused and removed content from Five Nights at Freddy's 2.
Decompiled Content[]
Toy Chica in the Office[]
Texture of Toy Chica from the game files staring at the player with glossy-black eyes and missing her beak and eye-lids. Her unused texture would have acted similar to Toy Bonnie while using the Freddy Fazbear Head upon seeing her from the air vent. Interestingly enough, this texture is referred as "chicalookatyou
" in the MFA files using Clickteam Fusion 2.5.
A similar idea is used for Ultimate Custom Night.
The Puppet in the Office[]
Unused texture of the Puppet's full body attached to strings. According to the MFA files in Clickteam Fusion 2.5 program, this unused texture is named "puppet in office
", suggesting that the Puppet was originally intended to appear in the Office in a similar fashion to Withered Freddy, Withered Bonnie, Withered Chica, and Toy Freddy.
The in-game object contains pathing, which moves the puppet vertically off the top of the screen once the game starts.
Endo-02 and Shadow Freddy leaving after seen[]
There is an unused sound and mechanic after you see Endo-02 in both the Left Air Vent or the Prize Corner and Shadow Freddy in the Parts & Service, they go away after a half a second with 3 seconds of static after.[1]
Toxicity Meter[]
Empty meter in the game's files which is labeled as "toxic". This was later confirmed to be a way to prevent the player from keeping the Freddy Fazbear Head equipped for too long.[2]
"Mike"[]
Strange pixelated image in the game's files depicting part of a skull's face. The upper teeth are visible, with a black stream running down the only visible eye. The sprite is unusually referred as "Mike
" from the MFA files in Clickteam Fusion 2.5 program and bears a same size as other markers used for the animatronics' movements, implying that "Mike" was originally planned to be an enemy or a mere hallucination. "Mike" lacks its own AI even if it were added into the frame.
Pre-Updated Newspaper[]
Upon the first release of the game, the newspaper image when starting the new game was tilted differently as well as including a different phone number. To prevent any future phone call incidents, the latest update patch was released to change the phone number.
Lives[]
Piece of text that says "Lives" and a pixel stick-figure. Seeing as the Lives mechanic was scrapped as early as the first game, these are likely leftovers.
Demo Leftovers[]
Like the first game, some leftovers from the demo are found in the full version's files.
Pre-Release Content[]
Mangle with a Hook[]
In the game's third teaser, Mangle is shown to have a hook similar to Foxy. Although ingame, Mangle does not have a hook and instead possesses both hands.
Original Foxy[]
Again in the third teaser, the original Foxy is also seen, with glossy-black eyes and glowing white pupils. However, Foxy is replaced by his previous incarnation Withered Foxy, opposed to his minor minigame appearances.
Flashlight Text[]
From the trailer and a series of screenshots prior to the game's release, the "Flashlight" text for the Flashlight's battery meter is absent.
