Why is Springtrap's ear flipped the wrong way in Help Wanted? That had to have been, like, a deliberate decision, right?

Yeah HW's plot is over 80% throw away in terms of lore relevance due to it all being a digitial recreation with only the tapes, intro and Glitchtrap really being talking points. There are maybe a couple other things you can point out but they range from minor to irrelevant.
Hmph!
I wonder if Scott wrote up HW's storyline or gave vague directions/rules to SWS kind of like what Akira Toriyama did for Dragon Ball Super and Toei Animation i.e. "Here are a set of plot points, make sure plot point A leads into point B and so forth. Help Wanted as MatPat said definitely feels like it's ushering in a new era and feels like a story not written by Scott.
Thought you said “it’s rushed” to which you aren’t entirely wrong.
In my opinion the original continuity of FNAF should've ended at FNAF 6, any subsequent games should either be non-canon fun or the beginning of a new storyline or even a new reboot.
Or just, anything else.
Desolate Hope sequel would be super cool, I made a thread on TDH Wiki about an idea for a potential sequel so I'd be first in line if that happened. Or maybe something new entirely.
And Scott’s digital modeling has gotten much better over the years so whatever he makes could be super promising in appearance.
Oh heck yeah, FW's aesthetic was gorgeous so I'd be weak in the knees for a new RPG with a new story entirely.
