The following is a second part to my poster theories. The first part can be found here: https://freddy-fazbears-pizza.fandom.com/wiki/Thread:2610988
We've wondered it for a while. Why did Afton's corpse go through such radical changes?Flash back to SL's final cutscene; We're viewing the burnt remains of Fazber's Fright: The Horror Attraction. Nothing much can be seen, except rubble and a singular sign. From the smoke still in the air, it's clear this is just after the fire.
All of a sudden, movement: Springtrap comes sprinting out from the entrance to Fazbear's Fright, and the cutscene ends.
But what happened next?
I used to believe that he just simply went his own way and rebuilt himself. However, looking back, that may not have been the answer I should've went for.
Because somehow, Springtrap's face is seen in the newspaper article that shows Fazbear's Fright had burned down.
But how? If Springtrap simply left the attraction, he would never be in the background.
Well, the answer is simple: Springtrap escaped the fire, but he didn't escape Fazbear's Fright.
As for what happened to him, he was most likely sold at auction, like all the other remaining bits and pieces that survived the fire.
Now this is where the 'Spook Fest' poster comes in.
As you can see, it's clearly a Halloween celebration. How does this tie into Scraptrap's corpse's appearence? Simple:
His corpse was changed to look like a Halloween prop.
No, think about it: Afton's corpse in FFPS has way more flesh, all the fingertips on its right hand, artificial looking bones and all its teeth. That's stuff Springtrap's corpse never had.
It also explains why he's missing an arm: Whoever bought him got him out the suit.
After that, we pretty much know the rest: He went to FFD, got a new suit, a new pair of feet, and a new pair of eyes. And then he died in a fire.
This one's a little more straw graspy than most, but I'm taking a bit of a break, so I thought I'd deal with one more problem before I left.
