The Puppet is one of the playable characters from Freddy in Space 2. It is unlocked after rescuing it from the Stellar Pit level.
Physical Appearance
Unlike the other characters, the Puppet does not have any space-themed clothing or alterations made to it. It is also flopped downward most of the time, rising only to move, which it does by floating. It appears more or less the same as it does in the main series, except actually floating instead of merely appearing to float with strings.
As implied by its appearance in the menu and ending screens, the Puppet is able to bend its limbs flexibly without appearing to have any joints in this game, unlike the actual Puppet (which is a physical animatronic and therefore requires joints). It is also stated to have come from space, and like the other characters, is no longer an animatronic, implying that it is some sort of humanoid alien creature.
Attacks
GIFT BOX | The Puppet sends out a gift box that completes a full circle around its position before disappearing, dealing high damage to enemies. At higher levels, the gift boxes become larger, changing colors to reflect the Puppet's level. |

Role
Unlike the other characters, the Puppet is acknowledged as being "weird" in the game's summary, and based on said summary, along with its appearance and animations not fitting in with the rest of the group, it is implied that it is not one of Freddy's crew members, but rather was just encountered at some point. Notably, the Puppet is not mentioned when Fredbear introduces the Stellar Pit, unlike the other characters. Despite this, the Puppet got captured and brainwashed by LOLZHAX along with Freddy’s friends and lived the same fate as them until Freddy finds the Puppet and rescues it.
The Puppet is seemingly intended to be the last character to be unlocked, given that its stage is the hardest. Fittingly, it plays the role of the strongest, yet most difficult to use character. The Puppet's attack is the strongest out of all the characters when evenly leveled (discounting secret character Golden Freddy), but is much harder to use as it consists of a single projectile circling a small distance around the Puppet (that does not follow it), giving it limited range and leaving it vulnerable should the attack miss. Although it is difficult to use, leveling it up helps to address this problem by giving it progressively larger projectiles, and can easily be the most powerful character if it is used well. The Puppet's attacks also work well on bosses, given their large size and often slow movement make up for its lack of range.
The Puppet also has an innate +10 Luck bonus exclusively on itself, which can makes it easier to find items such as Power-Ups and blue Gems.
Trivia
- The concept of the Puppet being the "odd one out" among the other characters and the fact that it is still largely the same in appearance and behavior as its core series counterpart is also shared with Golden Freddy (although much less subtle, due to Golden Freddy being a secret character).
- They also share similarities in functionality such as a strong attack with low range as its drawback and innate luck bonuses, but in both cases Golden Freddy is more effective than the Puppet, thus taking on the role of a "stronger Puppet".
