The Office, or simply just Office, is the first level in THE JOY OF CREATION.
An official demo release of the level was planned for Q1 2024, before being to release on August 2, 2024 to coincide with the franchise's 10th anniversary celebration.
Gameplay[]
The player begins in an office, where they play through a short segment guiding them through the basic mechanics of the level. Afterwards, the power shuts down and they are forced to check their computer. Text appears on the computer, introducing the player to Ignited Freddy's mechanics. More of these tips introducing Ignited Foxy and Ignited Bonnie's mechanics appear as the player dies. Once the player dismisses the text, the night begins.
Located in the office is The Creator's desk, two three-drawer shelves, four larger lockers, and a fuse box. The player can look inside of any of the drawers or the lockers to search for items. The Creator's desk contains a set of three monitors that can be used to monitor a closet to the left, a larger hallway in front of the desk, and an outside window exit to the right.
Throughout the night, the player has to manage their power by replacing fuses in the fuse box with fresh ones found throughout a room. There are a total of five sections that need to be managed: one for the main power, one for the flashlight, and one for each camera. The camera power drains as the cameras are used, and when a camera runs out of power, "NO SIGNAL" text will be displayed on the screen and it cannot be interacted with until the camera is powered up again. The flashlight decreases in power every time it is used (for a total of six uses). The main power drains at a consistent speed regardless of what the player is using. When it drains fully, it cannot be powered back up again. After a short amount of time, Inner Freddy will appear in his inner form and kill the player.
The player must flash their flashlight on Freddy a total of twelve times to conclude the night. Every time Freddy is flashed, the time on the analog clock and the digital clock in the room will increase by one hour. Freddy will appear in either the left or right corner of a camera. If the player flashes the wrong side of the room, He will flee. If the player fails to flash Freddy in time, he will leave the room.
While attempting to survive the night and flash Freddy, the player will be attacked by a variety of the other Ignited Animatronics. They become progressively more powerful and resistant to the player's attempts to fend them off as they replace more fuses.
Bonnie will eventually appear at either side of any room in any camera and continue to periodically appear throughout the night. When the player looks at him on the camera, he will attack the camera and instantly drain all of its power. Not looking at him prevents his attack. Looking at him at the door while he is in a room will cause him to non-fatally punch the player.
Foxy will later appear right in front of any camera and continue to periodically appear throughout the night. Opening a door while Foxy is at it will instantly result in a jumpscare. To prevent Foxy's jumpscare, the player must look as his eyes as he moves around repeatedly until he disappears. The amount of times the player must look at his eyes increases as the player spends more time in a night, but it doesn't necessarily increase depending on the in-game hour.
Ignited Chica appears last and will crawl out of a hole in the ceiling in front of The Creator's desk. The player must find anywhere from 3-6 Ignited Cupcake's and flash them with the flashlight. Once all of the Cupcakes are removed, She will disappear. These flashes will drain the player's flashlight power like a flash to Freddy would. Failing to ward off Chica after a significant amount of time will result in a jumpscare.

Trivia[]
- Due to being very close to completing the Office mechanically, Nikson welcomed questions about it on X/Twitter.
- Ignited Golden Freddy has not been implemented yet, as he is more of an artistic/visual detail, but will be in the final version.
- It was later confirmed that Ignited Golden Freddy won't make an appearance in the reboot.
- A power/battery system now adds a lot more depth to the gameplay loop. The cameras, flashlight, and main power will all drain and need to be recharged. An extra room has also been added for the power mechanic.
- He does not want there to be obvious clues for when animatronics appear, in order to encourage camera usage. However, events like failing to flash Ignited Freddy will have a sound for him leaving to indicate failure.
- All features were on a similar level of difficulty to implement, with nothing being especially challenging to make.
- Ignited Bonnie breaking the camera will no longer make Ignited Foxy easier to deal with, as he will now be able to kill the player after Ignited Bonnie disables all the cameras.
- The win conditions are the same as the original, flashing Ignited Freddy a specific number of times, but there is a lot more depth and resource management. There will be more things to do and keep track of, with more lose conditions than before.
- The core mechanics for the Ignited Animatronics are unchanged, but they have all still been somewhat altered.
- Ignited Chica's speed will not change based on difficulty or the player's speed.
- The Office is now the first level of the game, which better fits in with the new story. Because of this, technically nothing forces the player to go into the Office.
- Ignited Bonnie will not directly kill the player. Instead, he will jumpscare them and drain the flashlight if they flash an area he is in. Thus, it is impossible to deal with any other threats until it recharges. Bonnie will likely be the hardest threat to deal with in the level, largely because of how annoying he will be to players.
- There will still be a power outage sequence, though players will now be given some sort of chance to win, since Nikson hated that it was essentially a long death scene in the original. The player may be given a chance for one more flash during the power out. Despite the overhaul, Ignited Freddy will still play the Toreador March.
- Ignited Bonnie drains the cameras instead of breaking them. This forces the player to go use a battery/fuse to recharge it. These batteries/fuses are also needed to keep the flashlight and main power running.
- The number of cupcakes to find will increase the longer one plays. There are also over 15 possible spots for the cupcakes to hide.
- There will be no way other than the cameras to determine if Ignited Bonnie is close.
- There are still three entry points to the Office, but the ability to choose to flash the left, right, or center has been added to force more depth with use of the cameras. The flashlight needing to be properly aimed at Ignited Freddy is the biggest change to his mechanic.
- The environment was created from a mix of models made by Nikson, other people, and edited marketplace assets.
- Difficulty will progress over the course of the level.
- The back window will not have any importance.
- Ignited Foxy can even spawn at broken cameras, since the player is able to recharge them. Ignited Foxy will no longer appear on multiple cameras at once.
- Ignited Bonnie's jumpscare will still have him punch the player, but not lethally.
- Less automatic interactions make the player feel in control and responsible for what is happening.
- There is no Freddy nose to honk.
- Ignited Golden Freddy has not been implemented yet, as he is more of an artistic/visual detail, but will be in the final version.
