History[]
Not much is known about the mill's history other than it having been the reason the town was established. It was a major source of income for numerous families. Upon it's closure, hundreds of other mothers and fathers lost their jobs, including Oswald's father. Most families moved away for better jobs, including Oswald's best friend Ben. This further led the town into decay as many establishments closed down, such as Gino's Pizza and Marco's Pizza.
Trivia[]
- In He Told Me Everything, Chris Watson notes that the houses in his neighborhood were originally built for workers in a steel mill that had closed down years before he was born. It's unknown if this is referring to the mill from Into the Pit.
- In the dumpsters of the mill, Trash and the gang can be seen.
- The Into the Pit video game holds cut content that shows the Mill as a run-down wooden building with a broken turbine.
