The Immortal and the Restless is a multi-seasoned soap opera television show watched by Michael Afton in Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location.

After each night (with the exception of Night 3 due to Michael didn’t leave Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental and getting kidnapped by Ennard), Michael watches the series at home. The series airs a new episode every night, and is popular enough to earn another season after the conclusion of the current one. There is an unknown amount of episodes prior to those seen in the game.

Episode 5 - Season Finale[]

  • Vlad: The baby isn't mine!
  • Clara: He ate the cat!
  • Vlad: Sounds like something he got from your side of the family!
  • Clara: Well how's this? I'm keeping the diamond ring.
  • Vlad: The joke's on you! I found it in a kids' meal!
  • Clara: You bought a kids' meal? Oh, Vlad!
  • Vlad: Clara!
  • [Vlad and Clara kissing]
  • Narrator: As the hair on the back of a cat stands up straight, so also does the love between Vlad and Clara stand up against all obstacles. But what about the baby? What about the [bat] child support? Stay tuned next season for those answers and more.

Trivia[]

  • The show is precisely based on the soap opera TV series The Young and the Restless.
    • Additionally, The Immortal and the Restless is also based off various vampire romance movies and TV shows such as True Blood, The Vampire Diaries and Twilight all three of which revolve around a human having a relationship with a vampire similar to Vlad and Clara.
  • The original concept idea dated on August 2, 2016 shows Vlad with a different look and wearing an outfit closely resembling Count Dracula's while Clara depicting with a slight longer length of her hair and wearing a red dress instead of green-themed clothing.
    • The TV show's project title is "Vampire Soap Opera".
  • Neko Pilarcik-Tellez used Toon Boom Harmony to animate the characters, Adobe After Effects for the title sequences, and Premiere for final editing.[1]
  • Scott Cawthon already had the script and audio done beforehand, before hiring from a job post on a freelance board. He had a firm time limit to making the show quickly, but gave a lot of creative freedom, only wanting "strong, funny poses and mouth movement". He did request them to be animated at 30 frames per second and exported as MP4s, but overall did not give many notes. There were no notes on specific character appearance.
  • Neko gave Scott three different art styles to choose from, and he picked her usual style. Clara was easy and mostly just had to be translated between them, while Vlad took more iterations. The particulars of the character designs, including colors like Vlad's purple clothes, were made solely by Neko.
  • From concept art to finish, Neko made the entire show in 15 days.[2] Some episodes only took a day or two, while others took several days, even a couple of days over 14 hours. It was finished approximately two and a half weeks after her first conversation with Scott.
  • There is a shot in the final episode where the line weight is a bit odd, which irritates Neko.
