The Entity, alternatively named M.X.E.S., is the secondary antagonist of the RUIN DLC in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach. The Entity is an embodiment of the M.X.E.S., a digital security apparatus designed to confine and regulate The Mimic, thereby preventing its escape from the subterranean depths of the Pizzaplex.
Physical Appearance[]
The Entity is a digital manifestation resembling a midnight blue rabbit with glowing technological lines traversing its body. It exhibits glitching, slender arms and a lengthy tail in lieu of legs; its arms are interconnected by electricity lines. Additionally, it possesses white eyes and a grin, its countenance eerily merging human and rabbit features.
The Entity possesses square-shaped eyeholes, a long snout pointing forward, and hands that closely resemble those of a human.
Personality[]
The Entity's personality is mostly unknown, as they seem incapable of most forms of communication outside merely summoning the animatronics connected to the M.X.E.S. network. That said, they seem to be determined to keep the Mimic imprisoned and is willing to hurt innocent people to achieve this goal. This is further shown when targeting Cassie, willing to manipulate the murderous remains of the Glamrock Animatronics to kill her in order to keep her from unknowingly releasing the Mimic, who is mimicking Gregory to fool her in order to get himself freed, it is also proven that he is manipulating them when the Mimic uses Gregory's identity to alert Cassie that the Entity is sending a signal to Montgomery Gator.
Functionality[]
The Entity appears only when Cassie overuses the Security Mask. The emergence of a chord signals the Entity’s presence, prompting Cassie to swiftly remove the mask in order to repel it. Failure to remove the mask obscures Cassie's vision in static, and nearby animatronics are alerted to your location, occasionally leading to a jumpscare by the Entity. Prolonged use of the mask ultimately triggers an inevitable jumpscare, irrespective of the present animatronics location.
