The Art and Making of Five Nights at Freddy's 1 and 2 is a behind-the-scenes book about the making of the first and second Five Nights at Freddy's films, written by Scott Cawthon and Cala Spinner. On February 14, 2024, the book was indefinitely delayed, with the title updating including the second film on May 16, 2025.

The book was revealed on Bookmanager on September 8, 2023, under the title "The Art and Making of Five Nights at Freddy's: The Movie" along with the description and co-author.^[1] A few months later, on February 14, 2024, the book would be delayed indefinitely.^[2] Following the delay, the books title would be updated to "The Art and Making of Five Nights at Freddy's." On May 16, 2025, both Canadian Amazon and Indigo listings for the book were updated include the first and second films along with a new description.^[3]^[4]

Trivia[]

Landon Lott uploaded three pieces of artwork that he made for the films Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place exterior; it is presumed that these artworks would've been in the book.^[5]
There is a chance the book was postponed due to Blumhouse's upcoming book "Horror's New Wave: 15 Years of Blumhouse," which contains "process of conception to premiere" information for many of Blumhouse's films, including Five Nights at Freddy's.
- This was proven wrong on May 16, 2025, with listings of the book being updated for both the first and second films.
