Can someone please add Dark Springtrap as one of his images? I know he's minor but he's still one of his forms.

Origin of "William" in "William Afton"
When exactly did William's forename as "Mr. Afton" get revealed? I think I might have missed a plot node here... Comment Spae (talk) 02:06, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
- If I recalled correctly; that name was mentioned in Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location somewhere. It's been a while since I last saw that closed caption on YouTube... But at least there's a small source to start instead of come here to see no answer. FredCat 02:25, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
- Then again, like it's been a while since I last saw them. I am sure his title was mentioned on the recording tape from Five Nights at Freddy's 3, when giving the warning about Springlock Suits risk and malfunction. William was the creator of those suits at that time and had to record down the warning about their risks. FredCat 10:28, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
...No. I said "forename as" meaning that I'm asking about the origin of "William".Comment Spae (talk) 11:09, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
I think the name "William Afton" originated in The Silver Eyes. Santademon (talk) 11:10, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
Okay, definitely missed a plot node then. Comment Spae (talk) 15:02, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
- Well, Santademon... Comment Spae meant where that name/nickname came from. As far as I could remembered; "Mr. Afton" was first mentioned on the recorder back in Five Nights at Freddy's 3 as my previous comment pointed out. Then if we followed the games only; then it appeared in "Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator", or like you said, in the Novel; "The Silver Eyes".
- But again, Scott is one tricky writer to figure out where that name came from. FredCat 23:45, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
I'm the kind of person who tries to pay attention to everything in a FNaF game, fan or official, due to the fact that, of course, the story will never be written straightforward. Hell, I don't even quite get the lore of The Joy of Creation: Story Mode over the past 4 years or so and that thing still has its lore practically told right to the audience with all of the newspapers and that flashing Golden Freddy is what ends the game. I get the origin of "Mr. Afton" because, well, of course I paid attention to the prologue of Sister Location, it's the first thing that appears when the game is opened. Really just the forename that's the confusing part... Comment Spae (talk) 11:35, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
A couple of user believe that William’s relationship withy his family is speculation so they put the speculation header right in the middle making the personality section not only look horrible but putting speculation about personality is absolutely unnecessary and every time I remove the speculation and explain why my edits keep getting undone I think this is starting to become bias. So he really is Glitchtrap...
I now it was always obvious, but I think it is just strange that the Glitchtrap page is now gone. Am I the only one who thinks this is so?
I think we should bring back the click thru infobox with all the diferent formes. Smilestart (talk) 12:16, 3 January 2022 (UTC)smilestart
Asking permission to edit this page
In the personality section, the Crying Child being William's son is worded as if it is a fact. I'm asking if I can change this to keep this piece of information from being biased in manner.
Edit: I realized that I made a mistake informing you about this. This is why I wanted to edit this page myself. William being aware of Elizabeth possessing Baby isn't speculation, it's a fact. The reason why he sent Michael to the underground facility was to free her, meaning that he knew she was still alive and haunting his creation. This would also mean that he allowed technicians to repeatedly shock her for years, so having this information about his relationship with Elizabeth would be nice. I don't know why you removed the Michael trivia either, as that is established to be a fact as well. - SammyFrenchsticks66
