“It's just hard. I'm not over Amber yet.” |
Stanley is the protagonist of Fazbear Frights 3: 1:35AM's second story, Room for One More. He is a lonely man who comes across a strange ballerina doll while working as a security guard in a secretive underground facility.
Physical Appearance[]
Stanley is short and overweight, and he's inherited his father's receding hairline. He normally wears his security uniform and his shiny badge.
When the Minireenas start entering Stanley, he gets sickly gray skin, bloodshot eyes with dark shadows under them, a bleeding throat, and numb, swollen limbs. He also ends up with a stubble on his jaw and chin as he does not trust himself with his swollen limbs to shave. It gets to a point where Stanley has to wear a plain white T-shirt to work as his uniform is torn up.
Personality[]
Stanley is very sad and lonely due to his girlfriend, Amber, breaking up with him. His big appetite and love of eating has turned into emotional eating after the break up, and he loses his motivation and starts caring less. Stanley can be rather stubborn and uses the passing of his father to justify his fear of doctors. He is also easily amused, especially by childish things, and in his loneliness begins speaking to inanimate objects. Stanley often broods over his current life, which makes him vulnerable. He doesn’t usually cry and hides his moments of weakness from others out of embarrassment.
History[]
A year and a half before the current events of the story, he signed up for a night guard position in a sketchy underground facility. Also, two weeks before the story takes place, his girlfriend, Amber, breaks up with him due to her not seeing the relationship go anywhere.
In one of the night shifts, he finds a Minireena suddenly appear on his desk. He finds it cute, but he's also confused about how it got there. Stanley decides to leave the doll and takes a nap, but the Minireena seems to disappear by the time he awakens. Soon after, Stanley's arm begins to stiffen and hurt, and his throat feels sore.
Over the next few days, Stanley grows more and more wounded after each encounter. Both of his arms swell, each of his limbs grow stiff, he loses appetite, and his throat bleeds profusely from the inside. Though he is reluctant at first, his family convinces him to go to a nurse. By the end of the story, when Stanley finally figures out what the Minireenas were doing, he tries to escape but a Minireena appears and goes inside of him.
Trivia[]
- Stanley seems to represent Michael Afton from Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location, in FNaF: Sister Location, it's shown that Ennard went inside of Michael. The Minireenas going inside of Stanley are a metaphor to that.
