General[]
- Sparky's design combines features from all the other Classic animatronics, using Bonnie's head shape, Chica's eyebrows, Foxy's nose, and Freddy's freckles.
- Sparky reusing Bonnie's head is somewhat ironic, as Bonnie was the animatronic to kill Hank.
- Sparky shares similarities with Fetch, being a shade of brown, with a red collar with a golden object attached to it, freckles, and orange eyes.
- While not confirmed, there is a good chance that the dog could be the film counterpart of Fetch, similarly to how Ella got a film counterpart.

- Upon seeing the dog, fans quickly connected them to Sparky the Dog, a rumor made up by Tumblr user kodiabear (formerly known as blrdnames[1]) on August 18, 2014, which seems to have started with a drawing of Sparky,[2] which later grew into the infamous image of Sparky peeking into the backroom in the first Five Nights at Freddy's video game that made Sparky a popular hoax among the fandom.[3]
- There is a diner seen in the film named "Sparky's," which could connect the hoax Sparky and the films dog together. This also makes it a possibly that he's the mascot of said diner.
- If this is the case, then Fazbear Entertainment may be affiliated with Sparky's Diner and is possibly still a corporate entity.
- Sparky's appearance in a backroom full of spare animatronic parts is likely a reference to the faked screenshot where he is shown on the Backstage camera.

- Christian Stokes took to X/Twitter to answer an FAQ. The question being what he meant when he said, "Don’t count ole Hank out yet!" and Stokes said, "Well, I couldn’t talk about what I knew at the time... So, it should have probably been phrased like this: "Don’t count ole Sparky out yet!"[4]
- This could also confirm that the dog is named Sparky, but there is also a high chance that he's just saying what the community is calling him.
- In an interview with YouTuber Dawko, Christian Stokes mentioned Joseph Poliquin, the actor for Carl, told him the dog was named Sparky. This lessens the possibility of the dog being named such, as Poliquin has been a fan of the franchise for a long time, meaning he likely came to the same conclusion that fans did when the film initially released.'
