Security Bots are a security type of S.T.A.F.F. Bots and one of the first bot groups ever encountered in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach. They are the most common S.T.A.F.F. Bots found throughout the game.
Physical Appearance[]
The Security Bots wear a cap labeled "SECURITY", it carry’s a flashlight, and sports a dark blue color scheme with navy blue accents, black shoulder pads, in addition to having a security badge and gold buttons printed on their chestpiece.
Functionality[]
They serve as security guards to patrol around the Mega Pizzaplex location at nighttime. They follow set patrol routes, occasionally stopping and performing a full turn before resuming their rounds.
When Gregory comes within the beam of light, the Security Bot will jumpscare him and sound an alarm, alerting any nearby glamrock animatronics to his position. The Security Bot will also raise the alarm if Gregory touches the Security Bot, regardless of if he is in the flashlight's coverage or not.
Role[]
The first Security Bot was encountered in the Lobby Entrance area, patrolling around Glamrock Freddy's statue.
From the "Burn it All Down Ending", a unique, withered version of the Security Bot, called Sewer Bot in the files, can be found in the Underground. Although there are only two sewer bots, they exhibit the same behavior as their normal counterpart. However, no enemies are summoned if the Sewer Bot jumpscares Gregory upon full approach. This Security Bot appears old and broken-down, exposing more of its endoskeleton than the cleaner S.T.A.F.F. Bots. One Sewer Bot wears a security cap and the other one doesn't.
Trivia[]
- The Security Bots are some of the only non-passive S.T.A.F.F. Bots, along with the Mop Bots, Alien Bots, and Nightmarionne S.T.A.F.F. Bots.
- From the first frame of the Security Bot's jumpscare, their flashlight is briefly clipping through their hand.
- From the November 30, 2021 pre-release build found in the PlayStation 4 port, the Security Bots originally had a different jumpscare animation, bearing some similarities with Vanessa's jumpscare.
