The Security Badge is a collectible item used by security staff and Gregory to gain access to restricted areas and locations in the Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex in Five Night's at Freddy's: Security Breach.

Physical Description

The Security Badge is a rectangular blue key card with a golden shield on the left side, a white label reading "Security" next to it, and a barcode in the center of the card. The bottom of the card features a white-silver stripe which could be a magnetic stripe to store data about the holder and their security clearance. The background of the card shows a semi-transparent company logo.

The Security Badge on the item acquired splash screen has a white-silver colouring with white glitter particles.

The top of the card has a hole, presumably for attachment to a key chain, as well as a logo of the Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex. Following the logo, a dark and light purple checkered label shows the word "Security". After the purple "Security" label comes a section to presumably hold information about the key card owner as it features a winged star symbol, lines for a name, and a place holder for an image. The bottom of the card shows a barcode to possibly store data on the card's clearance level and its holder.

In the background of the bottom right corner, a pale-yellow company logo can be seen.

Usage

Security Badges are used by Gregory to increase his security clearance to gain access to otherwise restricted areas throughout the Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex.

By increasing his security clearance, Gregory will be able to open special security doors that lead him to different places that are normally considered off-limit to customers. The number in the top right corner of the door represents the clearance level required to open it.

Security Badges can be obtained from badge boxes shaped like a Glamrock Freddy head wearing a security officer's hat in Security Offices. In most cases, this will cause a security lockdown, which requires Gregory to complete a task in order to leave with new security clearance.

Trivia

• The security clearance level gained from picking up a Security Badge is not bound to the card nor its location. Picking up a Security Badge will simply add one level to the player's current clearance level, meaning the badges can be picked up in any order possible.
