Physical Appearance[]

As a baby, Sammy wears a sailor suit or nothing but a diaper and hospital wrist bands. He is also implied to be identical to Charlie as it mentions that it’s impossible to tell which baby is which.

In the graphic novels, Sammy is depicted as a small boy having wavy brown hair that almost reaches his shoulders with blue eyes and wearing a light blue shirt and pants of similar color and purple shoes.

History[]

Backstory[]

Prior to the events of the series, Charlie's twin brother, was kidnapped from Fredbear's Family Diner. As a result of this event, Henry Emily and his wife divorced.

The Silver Eyes[]

Sammy is remembered in flashbacks by Charlie. When she visited Fredbear's with John, she entered the same closet that she was in when she and Sammy were playing before and claims that he was taken by Spring Bonnie.

The Twisted Ones[]

Sammy appears in Charlie's dreams, becoming her motivation for the majority of the book. Towards the end, it is said by William to Charlie that he did not take Sammy and that he actually took her.[1] This caused confusion in Charlie and was written off by other characters that he was just trying to throw her off. Charlie's drive to find her brother was so great, though, that she would try to open a sealed door hidden under her childhood home, ignoring the collapsing building and attacking animatronics around her.

The Fourth Closet[]

Even though Sammy has no direct mention in this book, it's revealed that he wasn't the one that was murdered, it was Charlie. Baby revealed that Charlie was a robot all along, the third out of the four robots made by Henry to simulate each stage of life (toddler, child, teen, adult). Charlie's memory of Sammy being taken was a false memory, as the real Charlie was taken and murdered by William, heavily implying that Sammy went to live with his mother after the divorce, and never returned.

Trivia[]

  • Sammy's birthday is on May 13th, sharing his birthday with his twin sister.
  • Since Charlie was the one taken and murdered by William, it is heavily implied that Sammy went to live with his mother after the divorce, and never returned.
  • Even though his sister Charlie has become canon to the game universe, it is strictly unknown if he too existed in the games. There is also a theory that Sammy is the soul of Shadow Bonnie, however that has yet to be confirmed.
