Roxy Raceway is a large indoor go-kart track and one of the many locations inside of Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex. It appears in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach, and is themed around Roxanne Wolf.
The hallway leading into the area is decorated with speakers, tires, trophies and motorcycles. The raceway itself is a wild-west themed go-kart track decorated with neon purple lights. The Glamrock Beauty Salon is also located here.
Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach
Roxy Raceway is first mentioned when Glamrock Freddy escorts Gregory through the underground maintenance tunnels. At 2 AM, after Gregory escapes from the Lost and Found office, Freddy will leave him a message on his Faz-Watch to come to the Roxy Raceway entrance and climb over the construction barrier to meet him.
The main entrance to Roxy Raceway is blocked by construction barriers, and can only be entered if Glamrock Freddy has an upgrade from either Glamrock Chica or Montgomery Gator. As revealed in the messages found around the Raceway, the attraction's construction is stalled due to a sinkhole found below and power being drained underground. This lead to frustration for Roxanne, who took out her anger on driver assist S.T.A.F.F. Bots being used to test the tracks by beheading them.
Gregory finds a go-kart with a headless S.T.A.F.F. Bot, as well as a damaged head in a crate. In order to drive the go-kart, Gregory brings the head to the repair station at the Fazcade. After attaching the repaired head, Gregory drives on the track, and is intercepted by Roxanne. Gregory bails from the go-kart, which crashes into Roxanne and throws her off the road, severely damaging her. Gregory takes her eyes to upgrade Freddy and escapes through storage rooms adjacent to the Raceway, pursued by a vengeful Roxanne.
If Gregory acquires all three upgrades for Freddy and returns to the Raceway, they can access a secret underground passage that leads into the sinkhole below the Raceway, revealing the ruins of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place.
In a PlayStation Blog post, Jason Topolski, Creative Director of Steel Wool Studios, explained that Roxy Raceway was conceptualized after Roxanne, with the team unanimously deciding she was meant to be a racer. The design and layout of the Raceway was inspired by her and, in turn, informed Roxy's elitist personality.
Roxy Raceway was first revealed revealed in the first gameplay trailer on February 25th, 2021. It is seen through a window on the side of Bonnie Bowl, overlooking the track layout. The window is missing from the final version of the game. The Raceway's entrance path was revealed in a charity stream. In both instances, Roxy Raceway is missing the construction elements that are present in the final game.
- Of the four main animatronics' attractions, Roxy Raceway is the only one that does not have a minigame associated with it.
- It is one of two attractions that has no available minigame, the other being Bonnie Bowl, although Bonnie Bowl's game was developed but never implemented.
- That being said, unused dialogue from the driver assist bot indicates one was planned at some point, along with unused graphics for the racing game and even an unused but functional kart that can be spawned it.
- A glitch can cause the S.T.A.F.F. Bot head to reappear and be collected even after the quest involving it is completed. In doing so, the game's time resets to 5:15 AM, cause save points to be re-enabled when playing after 6 AM.
