Room for One More is the second story in Fazbear Frights 3: 1:35AM and chronologically the Fazbear Frights series' 8th story. It's also the second story in the second graphic novel collection and chronologically the graphic novel series' 5th story. It was written by Andrea Waggener, with illustrations done by Anthony Morris Jr. and colors done by Ben Sawyer.

Summary[]
Stanley works as the night guard at an isolated, underground facility. He usually falls asleep on the job. One night, he finds a Minireena on his desk that asks him to bring her home with him. He falls asleep, and when he wakes up the Minireena is gone. The same thing happens for a few nights. He begins to have nightmares of Funtime Freddy, Funtime Foxy, and Ballora, and his body feels swollen and numb. One night, he wakes up from his nap and is horrified to find a Minireena crawling into his mouth. He collapses from exhaustion as the Minireena taunts, "Isn't there room for just one more?"
Plot[]
For the past year and a half, Stanley has been working as a night guard at an isolated, underground facility after the previous security guard died from a massive heart attack. His job is to sit in the security office, watch the building’s exits on the monitors, and make sure nothing gets out. Stanley always looked forward to the time he’d spend once the job was over with his girlfriend Amber. Two weeks ago, however, Amber broke up with Stanley as she viewed the relationship as stagnant. Ever since, Stanley has been completely miserable, especially after learning that Amber is now dating the manager of the Snack Space.
Stanley usually spends half of his shift asleep in the office. One night, however, he is woken up to the sound of an alarm alerting him of the activation of a motion sensor in a vent in the security office. Stanley investigates but finds nothing, so he returns to sleep. Two hours later, he wakes up to see a strange ballerina doll on his desk. Stanley plays with the doll a bit and it speaks to him, asking to be brought home. He considers it as he returns to his nap. Stanley has a nightmare about being at an Italian restaurant while Amber and the Snack Space manager are going on a date. He tries to look away but he sees his father’s casket, so he looks down at his food only to discover it has turned into worms singing a version of “The Hearse Song.”
Stanley wakes up and the Minireena is no longer on his desk. He leaves and makes his way to the City Diner, taking his usual spot. Remembering a comment made by the doll about Stanley being squishy, he decides to try to eat healthier only to discover that he has a sore throat. He buys some sore throat lozenges to help with the increasing pain, and at home he goes to take a hot shower and discovers that his left arm is swollen. Stanley tries numerous attempts to fight his illness before he has to return to work. This time, he suddenly wakes up feeling watched and sees the doll on his desk again. Stanley thinks it speaks whenever he tilts it, and every time he does it asks to be brought home. He’s hesitant at first, but then promises to take it home if it stays on his desk when he finishes his nap.
Stanley has a nightmare about being late to work. When he runs outside, he sees no familiar landmarks and the street name has changed to “Fazbear Avenue.” Eventually Stanley manages to get into a cab and instructs the driver where to go. The driver takes him to the wrong street, but when he tries talking to him the driver is revealed to Funtime Foxy as it tries to attack him. Stanley wakes up and the Minireena is gone once again. At the diner, his throat feels worse. The waitress suggests going to a nearby walk-in clinic, but Stanley refuses as he blames doctors for his father dying of cancer. Stanley takes a seven hour nap and wakes up to a call from his older sister, Melissa, checking up on him. Stanley looks in a mirror and notices that his right arm is now swollen, and he also discovers blood coming from his throat. Melissa arrives and is shocked by how badly Stanley has let his house get. She decides to clean most of it for him, which makes him feel bad. Melissa cooks Stanley dinner and offers to take him to her doctor, but he still refuses.
Melissa instructs him to call in sick and get some rest, but Stanley still goes anyway. The pain in his throat wakes him up from his nap, and the Minireena is back again. He promises that if it doesn't disappear, he will bring it home with him. This time, Stanley has a nightmare about being at work with all of the light turned off. He uses his flashlight and makes it to his office, where he finds and is attacked by Funtime Freddy. When Stanley wakes up, he questions why he’s having such strange nightmares and notices the doll is not on his desk. He decides to skip his visit to the diner and looks at his reflection in a store window. Looking worse than ever, Stanley decides to visit the walk-in clinic. The nurse finds blood when she swabs his throat and gives him antibiotics. He has not changed out of his uniform in the past two days, and his body is so swollen that he has to use scissors to take it off.
Stanley wakes up later to discover that his right leg is now swollen and numb. His mother calls, having heard Melissa’s concerns over him earlier. Melissa also said he seemed lonely, and his mother assures Stanley that his broken heart will heal and someone else will come along, like what happened to her. Stanley assures his mother that he’ll get better and gets ready for work. He walks and takes a bus, noticing the way people are looking and acting towards him. Once Stanley reaches his office, he notices that both legs are now swollen. His body begins to feel tight and he worries he’s having a heart attack. He decides to visit the doctor Melissa recommended in the morning. Stanley then thinks about Amber and, worried that he’ll never get the chance to say it, decides to write a proper farewell to her. He puts the letter in his pocket before passing out.

When Stanley regains consciousness, his body feels incredibly tight and the Minireena is on his desk again. He berates himself for trying to talk to it, then questions why it’s speaking without being activated. Stanley notices that it’s missing an arm, and remembers how the previous doll had a tiny scratch in the paint on its face and before then it had a small tear in its tutu. He realizes that the doll he saw each night was different. Stanley is disturbed by the realization and puts the doll in his desk, then creates a plan to get his life back together again. He has a nightmare where Ballora is a dental assistant who straps him to a dentist’s chair. The dentist arrives and pries Stanley’s mouth open, taking off its goggles and mask to reveal the face of the doll.

When Stanley wakes up, he finds the Minireena trying to crawl in his mouth. He swats it away and realizes the dolls on each shift were entering his body and causing his body parts to become swollen. As Stanley makes his way towards the exit, he feels the ones already inside his body squirming and speaking. The one-armed doll stands in the facility's doorway and asks, "Isn't there room for just one more?" Stanley collapses from exhaustion, and as the one-armed doll leaps towards him he opens his mouth to scream.
Graphic Novel Differences[]
- Stanley comments on never knowing how much time a person has in their life rather than his supervisor. His brief interview with the shaky man is also shortened.
- New dialogue is added between Amber and Stanley showing what they would talk about while they were dating. At Max's birthday party, additional dialogue is given to Max, and Stanley tells Melissa about his concerns over Amber being his last chance rather than thinking it while the parents are talking.
- A digital clock shows when Stanley falls asleep and wakes up. He falls asleep at 11:22 P.M., wakes up to an alarm at 1:05 A.M., and finds the first Minireena at 3:02 A.M.
- During Stanley's second nightmare, he sees a clock with the words "YOU'RE LATE" on it. He also leaves the house without pants or shoes on, rather than simply having an unbuttoned shirt and untied shoes.
- Rather than sitting on the couch and watching TV, Stanley seemingly stands and waits by the door for Melissa to arrive at his apartment. Some of the dialogue between the two is either flipped around or completely cut.
- On the third encounter with the Minireenas, a digital clock shows Stanley falling asleep at 11:02 P.M. and finding the Minireena at 2:29 A.M. His nightmare with Funtime Freddy is also much shorter, with Stanley walking causally with a flashlight and finding the animatronic in his office.
- Instead of watching TV after the phone call with his mother, Stanley immediately gets ready for work. Strangely, his uniform is still intact despite having cut it apart like in the original novel.
- Stanley's struggle to move and the looks from bystanders are omitted, with him getting on and off the bus with very little difficulty.
- An army Minireenas can be seen physically pushing against his body as Stanley tries to escape, rather than him just hearing voices from different areas of his body.
- The final Minireena doesn't jump into Stanley's mouth as he screams and instead walks onto him, asks "Isn't there room for one more?", then crawls inside his mouth as he screams.

- This story seems to follow a plot similar to Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location, in which the main protagonist works at an secretive underground facility with a cramped office and vent monitors. The animatronics present in the facility are looking for a way to escape and do so by entering the body of the protagonist.
- Additionally, this story seems to have similarities to Night 4 of Sister Location as both feature Minireenas as the main threat and Stanley's swelling up due to the amount of Minireenas inside his body may be referencing the Springlocks loosening progressively faster as the night goes on being referenced by Minireenas climbing in the middle of the suit.
- Some theorize that this story is actually a sequel to Sister Location, with the Minireenas having been left behind after the rest of the Funtimes animatronics became Ennard and escaped through Michael Afton. This would explain their desire to escape and why some are worn down.
- The Snack Space is mentioned in both this story and Into the Pit, suggesting that they take place in the same universe.
Trivia[]
- As revealed by the publishing plan page present in early copies of Fazbear Frights 1: Into the Pit, Room for One More was originally meant to be the title story for Fazbear Frights 3, rather than 1:35 A.M..[1]
- This is the first story to be based on gameplay.
- There was an illustration made for this story, but the illustrations were ultimately scrapped for the whole series. Although it was reused for its own page in The Ultimate Guide.
- The illustration shows Stanley sleeping in his office at his night shift, while a group of Minireenas is crawling around and looking at him.
