The Rat & Cat Theater Actors are actors who perform within the Rat & Cat Theater. They first appear in Five Nights at Candy's 3.
Puppeteer[]

The Puppeteer, real name unknown, is an actor for the Rat & Cat Theater who controls Vinnie and is the overarching antagonist of the FNaC 3 minigames.
History[]
In 1961, the Puppeteer followed the RAT actor into the Employees Only room, accused the actor of being drunk on the job, and insisted that he remove his costume and go home. After the RAT actor refuses, the RAT and Puppeteer get into a struggle and accidentally kill the RAT actor by shoving him into a table with a bladed end. The CAT actor quickly runs in, and the Puppeteer says that everything was an accident. The CAT actor insists that they call the police and tell the truth, frustrating the Puppeteer, who, refusing to lose his career and get stuck in jail over this incident, strangles the CAT actor from behind and answers the police himself. Stating that he just found his colleagues dead in the room, and the police ordered him to lock down the room before he left.

RAT actor[]
RAT actor, real name unknown, is the actor who plays the RAT. He was killed by the Puppeteer in the Employees Only room. After the creation of the animatronic versions of RAT and CAT, he would go on to possess the RAT animatronic and, later, become the Shadow Rat.[1]
History[]
In 1961, Mary plays hide and seek with the RAT's actor every day, yet she always gets caught. One day, Mary, after telling the RAT's actor she will play hide and' seek with him and the other children, tries to find a place to hide, but all of the places are taken. Then, the CAT's actor runs out of the "Staff Only" room, leaving the door open and unlocked. Mary decides to hide in the closet within that room. Soon after, the RAT's actor says that he saw her run in, and the Puppeteer appears, only to start chewing out the actor in the RAT's costume for being drunk during work hours.
The Puppeteer asks him to "Think about their careers and the children," but the RAT actor starts to get angry and mock the Puppeteer, which prompts him to attempt to pry off the RAT actor's mask. The RAT actor fights back, but ultimately ends up getting pushed by the Puppeteer into Vinnie's bench and dies from the blunt force trauma. It's implied in the minigames that he was temporarily paralyzed, meaning that he heard everything until he died. The actor of the CAT walks into the room and asks the Puppeteer about what happened to the RAT. The Puppeteer tells them that it was an accident and that the RAT actor was unstable.
The CAT actor says that they need to call an ambulance and the police, but the Puppeteer says not to. He instead suggests that they lie to the police and say that they found the RAT actor this way. The CAT actor says to tell the police the truth and goes to the phone to do so, but the Puppeteer sneaks behind him and clenches the gap in the suit, suffocating the CAT's actor and killing him. The Puppeteer then calls the police and tells them that he found his co-workers dead while he was out, and he leaves the room with Mary, now traumatized and still in the closet. The RAT's actor believes that it was Mary's fault for his death and eventually haunts her in her dreams as revenge, taking the form of Shadow Rat. He loses, yet continues to be vengeful. The RAT animatronic is eventually possessed by the actor.

The Second CAT actor is the replacement of the first actor, who was hired on October 12, 1961.

Sometime after the death of the first CAT actor, the CAT got a replacement actor on October 12, 1961, where he would play hide and seek with Mary.
