This is a history sub-page related to Ralph.

Five Nights at Freddy's[]

Ralph was the previous night security guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, who worked in the Office prior to the events of the game. He helps the player by leaving voice messages providing information about the behaviors of the animatronics at the start of each night until Night 4, which is his final message presumably before his death.

Five Nights at Freddy's 2[]

Ralph's calls are played in the second game, reprising his role as deuteragonist to the player. He acts mostly the same way as in the first game, leaving voice messages that give the player helpful tips on the basic mechanics of the game. Unlike the first game, he leaves a message every night up until the sixth.

Five Nights at Freddy's 3[]

Ralph is only heard in the training tapes found by Phone Dude, starting from Night 2. The first one gives basic information on how the springlock suits are attracted to sound, but the rest mainly serve to give lore.

Five Nights at Freddy's 4[]

One of the ambient tracks is a reversed and distorted version of Ralph's Night 1 call from the first game.

Ultimate Custom Night[]

Ralph returns as one of the selectable characters, though only in the form of reused calls from earlier games. Specifically, his first three messages from the original game, the second game's Night 1 call, and the training tape for Night 3 of FNaF 3.

Ralph will call the Office at random, and the player will only have a brief amount of time to mute his call. If the player fails to mute the call in time, the mute button will disappear completely, and they will be forced to listen to the call in its entirety. This can be very problematic, as it can be both distracting for the player and also agitating to sound-sensitive animatronics, such as Music Man. The mute button can appear in any location on the screen, following no pattern and based seemingly on pure randomness. This can make it difficult for an unprepared player to respond to his calls, and as such, the player must remain cautious.

The challenges in which Ralph is present are as follows:

  • Pay Attention 1 (10)
  • Pay Attention 2 (20)
  • Old Friends (20)
  • Chaos 2 (10)
  • Chaos 3 (20)

Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted[]

Ralph's phone calls from the first three Five Nights at Freddy's games are recycled again in the respective levels for each night of the FNAF 1, FNAF 2, and FNAF 3 modes. The only exception is Night 6 from Five Nights at Freddy's 3, since there are only five levels in that game mode.
