Puppenator is a boss that appeared in Freddy in Space 2. He is the first boss in the Stellar Pit stage.
Physical Appearance[]
He is a humanoid figure representing The Puppet. He has big yellow eyes, and is constantly sticking his tongue out. He has 2 purple marks above his eyes, and constantly has a sinister grin that reaches to his cheeks. He is always balancing on one leg. Oddly, he doesn't have The Puppet's signature tear tracks.
Attacks[]
He will curl up into a ball, and try to deal contact damage to you by flying across the screen in 1 of 3 patterns:
Pattern 1: He will roll across the bottom of the floor, going from side to side, until he uncurls and stops.
Pattern 2: He will diagonally fly across the screen, bouncing against the floor, walls, and ceiling, until he uncurls and stops.
Pattern 3: He will fly off-screen, and then emerge from the top left corner of the screen, from where he will fly from top to bottom and vice-versa, slowly going to the right of the screen, until he reaches the right side of the screen, where he will uncurl and stop.
He will repeatedly do these patterns in a random order until defeated.
In-Battle Strategies[]
When he does Pattern 1, it is recommended to switch to Foxy, because his high jump allows the player to jump over him with ease.
Trivia[]
- His attack patterns and name seem to be a reference to the Mega Man series.
- He is the only boss to not have a defeated sprite.
