“Trash to cash!” |
Nurse Dollie is an animatronic that debuts in Five Nights at Freddy's: Secret of the Mimic as a secondary antagonist.
Dollie is a doll animatronic created by Edwin Murray used for recycling with the goal of saving money and "going green".
Physical Appearance[]
Normal[]
Dollie is a nurse-like animatronic with segmented faceplates, similar to the Funtime animatronics. She has a white nurse's cap on and a teal apron atop white clothes. The cap has a blue star of life on it, while the apron has a white one. She has split green eyes and a wide gaping mouth. Wires are connected to the back of her arms and body, running from a battery pack on her back. She wears black shoes and white socks that are connected to a gray metal stand.
Similar to Jackie, she is hijacked by the Mimic, allowing her to freely move around. Her white metal body becomes scratched up, with black marks on her arms and metal clothes. Starting from the ankles, her suit has been torn off, exposing the Mimic's feet.
During Melted Stage[]
After being dropped into an incinerator, Dollie's body is severely damaged. She has molten metal dripping from her hair, face, and legs. Her teal apron has been burnt to a crisp, leaving only half of it remaining and an exposed metal frame underneath. Some of her hair has been burnt off, and half of her face is melted, revealing some underplating. The yellow tubes connected to her battery pack have been disconnected and burnt off. As for now, her body is severely damaged and the tubes that belonged on her arms are now also burned off.
History[]
Looking to save money and cut back on waste, Edwin built a Recycling Center "Doll Hospital" or "Service Hospital" in the basement of Murray's Costume Manor to recycle old parts, electronics, games, and bots that could not be repaired or salvaged. As per Edwin's words, Dollie is one of the recycling auto-mations in the center. She is shown to be capable of diagnosing whether to repair or recycle.
Arnold first encounters Dollie in the Service Hospital after falling through the theater inside of the Captain Springlock suit. Dollie diagnoses 'Pirate Captain' as having a foreign body trapped inside before leaving the room, allowing Arnold to escape. Out on the catwalks, Edwin's automated recording explains what the location is and who Dollie is. She is then found circling on her track through a crowded room.
Upon opening the door into the main room of the Recycling Center, Dollie breaks herself off of her track and ambushes Arnold shortly afterwards. He escapes and proceeds to collect cubes of compressed trash to fuel the furnace. After collecting enough trash, Arnold heads down to clear out the conveyor belt, when Dollie drops through the ceiling and begins to approach on the belt. He uses cubes of trash to push her back and force here into the molten metal.
When Arnold heads downstairs, Dollie punches a hole in the wall and breaks out of the molten tank, now severely melted. She chases him down a conveyor before stalking through the nearby halls and rooms while he sneaks by. When he arrives at the elevator, she hears him and chases after him, but the door closes and the elevator begins to rise. Unfortunately, the elevator suffers another failure and Arnold's forced to repair the elevator from inside.
As the elevator continues its journey, Dollie suddenly leaps down onto the top of the elevator. Arnold repairs the elevator a second time by speeding it up to compensate for her weight. While the elevator is quickly rising, the Mimic rips itself free from Dollie's body and flees to safety, leaving Dollie to be partially crushed on the roof of the elevator.
Theories and Speculation[]

"I was the first! I have seen everything!"
This section archives a lot of theories and speculation, which usually occurs from pre-release media, or just things that are still unknown, so please keep that in mind while reading. The page will continue to be updated with the most accurate information as more solid evidence is supplied. |
- It is possible she has a connection to the Carnival Nurse from Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2.
- It is possible that Dollie is the springlock suit from Night 4 of Sister Location.
- A few reasons making this theory unlikely is the face portions and faceplates. She lacks the seam going across her face horizontally, and her eyes are vertical ovals.
- Dollie may belong to the same animatronic class as Jackie. Both come from Murray's Costume Manor, have names ending in "-ie," and have similar design elements, such as having vertical seams on their faces.
Trivia[]
- Interestingly, while diagnosing Pirate Captain, Dollie mentions he'll need a "stringent steam clean to soften up the remaining organic material" to easily clean out the "foreign object." If "steam clean" is connected to Dollie's backpack and nozzles, this could be similar to Reagent's from Interactive Novel #3: Escape the Pizzaplex, where it has a toxic chemical in tanks on its back, that, when sprayed, helps remove organic material.
- Dollie bears a striking resemblance to a character portrayed on the in-game collectable, the "Junior Doctor's Kit". Dollie is shown to be wearing a similar uniform and nurse's cap. Dollie's same yellow battery backpack is worn on the character's back and ports are visible on the character's palms in place of where Dollie's defibrillators would be held. It is unclear if this character is intended to represent Dollie or is simply based on her likeness.
- The name of her soundtrack after being melted, "Back to the Iron Lung", is a reference to a machine designed to help people who had difficulties breathing due to a malfunction in their respiratory organs (the most common examples were the people who had polio).
- When she is about to be crushed by the elevator, the Mimic can be seen discarding Dollie's body and escaping through the vents before the elevator reaches the last floor.
- She has defibrillators in her hands, which she uses during her jumpscare, prior to being melted, to kill Arnold. These defibrillators seem to be connected to her backpack, meaning that her backpack could be just a battery.
- While she is being used by Mimic as a costume, the feet of the entity can be seen where Dollie's feet used to be (as the real ones are still welded to her platform). In this case, Mimic's feet deployed heel-like extensions to "mimic" Dollie's original heeled shoes.
- Oddly enough, what appears to be Dollie can be seen on one of the cameras in Edwin's surveillance room, despite the animatronic being destroyed during the previous hour.
- After evading the melted Nurse Dollie by boarding the elevator, through using a free camera, Dollie can be seen idly looking around and then walking away (prior to falling onto the top of the elevator), which the player cannot see normally due to the elevator doors closing.
