The Custom Night is the seventh and final playable level of Five Nights at Candy's and the seventh and penultimate playable level in its remastered version.
Gameplay[]
Similarly to Five Nights at Freddy's and Five Nights at Freddy's 2, the Custom Night allows the player to manually set the difficulty of any animatronic. The difficulty options range from 0 (easiest) to 20 (hardest).
Strategies[]
7/20[]
7/20 mode is the hardest mode available and very difficult to complete. It is very difficult to beat using the same strategy recommended for Nights 3-6, as the animatronics are very quick and will almost always be at one or both doors and Blank will attack multiple times per hour. It is instead recommended that the player adopt a new strategy particularly for this mode, abusing the generous amount of power given to them.
Here's a step-by-step strategy:
- At the start of the night, immediately close both doors.
- Set your camera position to CAM 11 with Night Vision on.
- Check the left or right door. Quickly open and close it to ensure the power drain from the doors does not reach high levels.
- Quickly do the same to the other door. Repeat a few times (3-4 will usually do).
- Check CAM 11, with Night Vision on. If Blank is still in his first stage (sitting, looking away from camera), the player does not need to do anything. If Blank is at his second stage (sitting, staring at camera), monitor him more closely while still managing the door power. Once Blank reaches the third stage (standing and looking at camera) or has left the room entirely, shut the window until the sound of Blank attempting to break in is heard and open it again.
If the player manages to keep both of the doors' power drain at 0-2 bars for most of the night, it is unlikely that they will run out of power. There are several strategies for beating this mode other than this one, but this is one of the most effective.

Completion[]

The ending screen shown for successfully finishing any Custom Night mode.
After completing this night, the player will receive an employment termination slip for Mary Schmidt, the game's protagonist. It states that she has been fired for "tampering with animatronic equipment, potentially damaging the facility and/or animatronic equipment" and "too much perfume". The bottom of the slip also reads "I am really disappointed in you" with a sad face.
Trivia[]
- The termination slip that the player receives for completing the Custom Night is a reference to the Custom Night end screens in both Five Nights at Freddy's and Five Nights at Freddy's 2, where the protagonists are fired for tampering with the animatronics and "odor".
- Setting the difficulty to all zeros and running out of power will give the player an easter egg where none of the animatronics will attack them, despite the doors being wide open. This is because the animatronics are unlikely to reach the doors, if they even activate at all. The following text will appear sporadically, apparently inner dialogue of Mary Schmidt:
“Now I've really done it, I thought to myself, as I sat in the darkness. No more power, no lights, nothing. No danger, no worries, no fun. Just me, alone in the dark. All I can do is wait it out, and think what I've done.”
— Mary Schmidt, Five Nights at Candy's
- The dialogue when playing on 7/0 also appears after having inputted the code for Night Null, but never looking at Shadow Candy.
- The dialogue in the 7/0 easter egg can change if the Penguin is the only one active and gets into the office before or after the power runs out. She will instead state that it was "just me and the Penguin" instead of "just me".
- If playing on 7/20 mode, the calendar in the player's office will be covered in red ink (or blood) and will have the words "U R DEAD" written across it.
