==Gameplay==
Unlike the other first nights of the other games, nothing happens on this night. It introduces players to the complex and new mechanics (such as the [[Vent CAMs]], and the Audio Lure), and acts as a Tutorial rather than a full night.

== Minigame ==
Upon completing Night 1, the player is sent into an Atari-style minigame in which they control [[Freddy Fazbear]] inside the [[Freddy Fazbear's Pizza]] from the [[Five Nights at Freddy's|first game]]. As the player moves around, a [[Shadow Freddy]] will appear with instructions onscreen for the player to follow him. Eventually, the Shadow Freddy leads the player to a room which Freddy cannot enter, instead producing an error message. As soon as the player tries to leave, [[William Afton]] will appear and violently disassemble Freddy, ending the minigame. If the player strays from Shadow Freddy's path for too long, William will come to disassemble Freddy regardless.

*This is one of the only games where an animatronic isn't present and attacking on the first night. The second being ''[[Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location]]'', and the third being ''[[Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator]]''.
*The phone call is considerably long, lasting until 4 AM (although the time goes twice as fast).
**If the "Fast Nights" cheat is enabled, the call will get cut short around the time when [[Phone Dude]] says "You can toggle between the hall cams and {{Tt|the|Phone Dude's call gets cut short by 6 AM right when he says this word.}}".
