New Cindy, also known as Withered Cindy, is a newer model of the original Cindy the Cat who has since fallen into disrepair. Her withered form appears in Five Nights at Candy's 2 as one of the main antagonists.
Physical Appearance[]
New Cindy[]
New Cindy bares some resemblance with the original Cindy. with the only difference being that she is slightly more curvy.
Withered Cindy[]
Withered Cindy is a broken purple cat animatronic with a white face and belly. She has a rosy bow tie and similarly colored cheeks. She is missing an eyeball, exposing one of her endoskeleton eyes and is also missing her left cheek. Her upper right arm and right side of her body are missing parts. The entire front of her left leg is missing its plastic covering, revealing the endoskeleton underneath.
Functionality[]
Withered Cindy activates on Night 1 in FNaC 2. Marylin Schmidt has to lure her away from the Central Hall using one of the six phones found throughout the building. She may disable the phone for ten seconds if the phone is kept ringing while she is in the room.
History[]
New Cindy was created in the late 1980s as a replacement for the previous Cindy, and was brought over to Candy's Burgers & Fries in 1990 with New Candy as well. Children seemed to approve of Cindy's redesign alongside her brother and the restaurant seemed to be doing well, until one night in 1993 where a police investigation is conducted over the death of a nightguard. The restaurant is closed after New Candy is framed for the murder of the nightguard, resulting in New Cindy and all the other animatronics to be sent back to the Rowboatic Corp. Factory, where they sit abandoned and unused for 14 years slowly deteriorating.
New Cindy reactivates in 2007, after young Marylin Schmidt breaks into the factory and stays there for six nights. New Cindy activates on Night 1 and acts the same as New Candy and Blank, trying to make her way towards Marylin and being lured away by various phones throughout the factory. New Cindy is then absent on Night 6 along with all the other animatronics except for the RAT and CAT. After Night 6, the factory burns to the ground leaving nothing but rubble, it can be assumed that New Cindy and all the other animatronics were destroyed in this event.
