New Candy is a newer model of the original Candy the Cat that has fallen into disrepair. His withered form appears in Five Nights at Candy's 2 as a major titular antagonist.
Physical Appearance[]
Original[]
New Candy retains the same look Candy had from the first game, with changes only coming in the construction of his animatronic build. Overall, New Candy has a more cubic appearance to him, with his joints less exposed, colored darker and located underneath his plastic plating. His torso is more square-like as opposed to the original Candy's oval-like body, and he now has a defined pelvis.
Withered[]
Withered Candy has a hole on the top right side of his head, and the white part of his right ear has been entirely been removed. He is also missing his right eye, exposing his endoskeleton eye. His lower half of his bowtie has been broken off and the bottom part of his chest covering has been broken off, exposing the endoskeleton underneath. His left arm's covering has been removed entirely, exposing the endoskeleton arm underneath. His upper right arm's covering has been removed as well. On his right leg, the upper part of the plastic covering has been removed, revealing its endoskeleton underneath.
Functionality[]
Withered Candy's functionality is similar to New Cindy and Blank. He appears on Night 3, he attempts to try to get towards Marylin Schmidt. He can be lured away by the phones scattered across the factory, but will temporarily disable them after a long period of time.
History[]
New Candy was created in the late 1980s as a replacement for the previous Candy, and was brought over to Candy's Burgers and Fries in 1990 along with New Cindy. Children seemed to approve of Candy's redesign along with his sister and the restaurant seemed to be doing well, until one night in 1993 where a police investigation is conducted over the death of a nightguard. New Candy activates and is most likely framed by the Rat for the death of the guard, causing him to be tased by police after being corned in the Secondary Party Room. The restaurant is closed after this, resulting in New Candy and all the other animatronics being sent back to Rowboatic Corp., where they sit abandoned and unused for 14 years slowly deteriorating.
New Candy reactivates in 2007, after young Marylin Schmidt breaks into the factory and stays there for six nights as part of a dare made by her friends. New Candy activates on Night 3 and acts the same as New Cindy and Blank, trying to make his way towards you and being lured away by various phones throughout the factory. New Candy is then absent on Night 6 along with all the other animatronics except for the Rat and the Cat. After Night 6 the factory burns to the ground leaving nothing but rubble, it can be assumed that New Candy and all the other animatronics were destroyed in this event.
