Monster Cat is one of the monster animatronics from Five Nights at Candy's 3, and the monstrous counterpart to the Cat present in the nightmares of Mary Schmidt.
Physical Appearance[]
Monster Cat is a bigger, more grotesque depiction of the original Cat character. He retains the Cat's original dull beige color scheme, now made from a skin-like material that bends and contorts around his endoskeleton. He has glowing red eyes and an open jaw, revealing the pink tongue within. He has two cat ears attached to his head and a long tail with a bushy end. His feet have large, curved talons, and his fingers are spindly and bony.
Role[]
Monster Cat first appears on Night 3. He appears on either side of the bed, where the player must hover their flashlight over their face to get him to retreat. If the player allows the Monster Cat to escape the sides of the bed, he will jumpscare the player.
Trivia[]
- Unused in the game files are sprites of the Monster Cat standing in the bedroom and avoiding the flashlight, performing the same animations as the Monster Rat. These likely went unused because the mechanics would become redundant with Monster Rat's shared existence.[citation needed]
