The Crying Child's Older Brother[]

Foxy Bully

It's hilarious. Why don't we help him get a closer look! He will love it!
The Crying Child's older brother, Night 5

The Crying Child's older brother is the main antagonist of the end-of-night minigames. He is always seen wearing a Foxy mask, grey tank top, teal shorts, and gray shoes. He is heavily theorized to be Michael Afton.

He presumably is the one to lock the Crying Child in his bedroom during the very first minigame, but first physically appears in the post-Night 1 minigame. When the Crying Child approaches the television, he jumpscares him and ends the minigame.

On Night 2, he leaves the Crying Child behind at Fredbear's Family Diner, knowing how much he hates being there. In Night 3, He ends the minigame again by jumpscaring the Crying Child from under his own bed. While left ambiguous, he is also likely the reason for the Crying Child being locked backstage during Night 4.

In the sixth minigame, he and his friends show up to the Crying Child's birthday party at the diner, where he leads in terrorizing his younger brother. The group picks him up and forcefully carries him towards the two Animatronics. His brother now being too close to the animatronics overwhelmed him greatly, causing him to be crying intensely as they reached the stage, provoking the bullies to escalate the situation where they shove his head all the way inside Fredbear's mouth, mockingly stating to "have him give Fredbear a kiss" knowing it will petrify him the most, which ended up causing The Big Bite. He is last heard in the aftermath during Night 6, while the Crying Child is at the hospital and apologizes, unsure if he is even heard.

The Bullies[]

Wow, your brother is kind of a baby isn't he?
One of the bullies, Night 5

Three of the Crying Child's older brother's friends, known as the bullies, appear during the minigame on Night 5. Like the Crying Child's older brother, each of them wear tank tops, shorts, and a mask based on each of the classic mascots: Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, and Chica.

Only one of them speaks to insult the Crying Child at the start, before they simply just follow the Crying Child's older brother's instructions and help lift him closer to the Animatronics. They force the Crying Child into his mouth, aiming to terrify him as much as possible. knowing this will provoke his younger brother to cry like never before, but stop laughing once his head is crushed.

Fredbear Performer/Entertainer[]

Fredbearcostume

You know what will happen if he catches you!
Fredbear plush referring to the Fredbear performer/entertainer, Night 2

In the Night 2 minigame, a performer/entertainer at Fredbear's Family Diner appears wearing a Fredbear suit. Only his gray eyes and light skin of his face can be seen in the mouth of the springlock suit.

When the Crying Child attempts to exit the restaurant, he appears and enters from right outside, unintentionally scaring the Crying Child into walking away to the left. He then speedily follows the Crying Child, until he breaks down crying on the floor again after also completely lacking the courage to walk past the Animatronic stage ahead.

Spring Bonnie Performer/Entertainer[]

Stuff3

A brown haired performer/entertainer putting on a Spring Bonnie suit can also be secretly discovered during the Night 2 minigame.

If the Crying Child backtracks to the right, he can briefly spot the employee and William Afton in a shadowy back room. William helps the man put on the head of the suit, before the doors shut.

This event is often speculated to correlate with one of the clues on Scott Cawthon's website shortly after the game's release, "What is seen in shadows is easily misunderstood in the mind of a child."

Spring Bonnie Plush Kid[]

Child with Springtrap doll

Where's your plush toy? Mine is Spring Bonnie. My Daddy says I have to be careful with him or I will pinch my finger. He is a finger trap, he says.
Spring Bonnie plush kid, Night 3

A brown haired and blue eyed kid with a Spring Bonnie plush appears in the minigame for Night 3. They wear white shoes, brown shorts, and a green shirt with a heart on it.

After the Crying Child exits to the parking lot of Fredbear's Family Diner, the kid asks him about his plush toy. They say their father told them they have to be careful with their Spring Bonnie plush, or else it would pinch their finger. Their daddy refers to the Spring Bonnie plush as a "finger trap".

Spring Bonnie Plush Kid's Father[]

The Spring Bonnie plush kid mentions their father, while talking to the Crying Child. He tells his child to be careful with their Spring Bonnie plush, calling it a finger trap, otherwise the toy would pinch their finger.

Pigtailed Girl[]

Pigtailed girl

You'd better watch out! I hear they come to life at night. And if you die, they hide your body and never tell anyone. Why do you look so worried? See you at the party! Ha ha ha!
Pigtailed girl, Night 3

A pigtailed girl appears in the Night 3 minigame, wearing an orange top, red skirt, and orange shoes. She has green eyes and red hair styled into a pair of pigtails.

After the Crying Child leaves the parking lot, the pigtailed girl warns him of how the animatronics come to life at night. Apparently if someone dies, they hide the body and never tell anybody, throwing into question how she knows this. She then asks why he appears so worried, and finishes the one-sided conversation by assuring him that she will see him at the party.

Laughing Boy[]

Kid 5 Laugh

Aren't you the kid who always hides under the table and cries? Hahaha! No one else is scared! Why are you? Stop being such a baby!
Laughing boy, Night 3

A laughing boy appears in the Night 3 minigame, where is laughing on the ground by the sidewalk. The brown haired boy wears a green shirt top, with brown shoes and blue pants.

When approached by the Crying Child, the boy recognizes him as the kid who constantly hides, crying under the table. at Fredbear's Family Diner. He says nobody else is scared, asking what reason the Crying Child could have, and tells him to stop acting like a baby.

Toy Collector Girl[]

Girl and her toy collection.

Girl and her toy collection.

Why are you crying? Don't you like my toy collection?
Toy girl, Night 3

A girl who collects toys secretly appears at a small playground in the Night 3 minigame, with her collection of three Fazbear Entertainment, Inc. animatronic figures: Toy Bonnie, Toy Chica, and Toy Freddy. The girl herself has blue eyes and a red bow in her brown hair, while wearing white shoes, blue shorts, and a pink shirt with a horizontal blue line in the center.

The Crying Child can wander into a secret playground area, up from the main sidewalk, to speak with her. She asks why the Crying Child is crying, and if he likes her toy collection.

Another hint posted to scottgames.com shortly after release, relating to her, was, "In the FNaF4 minigame, why would the tiny toy chica be missing her beak?"

Balloon Kid[]

Kid 4 Balloon

Are you going to the party? Everyone is going to the party. Oh wait, you have to go! It's YOUR birthday! Haha!
Balloon kid, Night 3

A chubby kid holding a pink balloon also appears during Night 3's minigame. With brown hair and blue eyes, the boy wears a red shirt, blue pants, and brown shoes.

The balloon kid stands on the edge of the street, next to a blue car, when he sarcastically asks the Crying Child if he's going to the party like everyone else. (Despite no one being there in Night 5) He then sarcastically remembers that the Crying Child has to go, since it's his own birthday party, before laughing him away.

The Fredbear Plush[]

Fredbear Plush Follow

Tomorrow is another day.
The Fredbear plush, end of the first few minigames

The Fredbear plush is a mysterious character who follows The Crying Child and speaks to him throughout most of the end-of-night minigames. He appears in most areas, with his pupils always following the player-controlled Crying Child. His exact nature is largely unknown and unexplained. The only area plushie Fredbear does not physically appear in is Fredbear's Family Diner, although he can still be heard sometimes.

Before the first minigame even begins, the Fredbear plush speaks from the middle of a black void. He asks the Crying Child what he, presumably his older brother, did this time, which was locking him in his room again. He says not to be scared, since the plush is with him. It transitions to his bedroom, where the Fredbear plush sits on the bed and tells the Crying Child that tomorrow is another day to end the minigame.

After Night 1, he tells the Crying Child that he knows his older brother is hiding again, and he will not stop until his younger sibling finds him. He sits atop the grandfather clock in the hall, near the doorway of the girl's bedroom, and on the couch of the living room to follow the Crying Child. After a short time, he will simply say, "Over there." in an attempt to help him find his hiding brother. He once again states that tomorrow is another day after his brother jumpscares the Crying Child from behind the television.

Post Night 2, he explains to the Crying Child that his brother left without him, knowing how much he hates being at Fredbear's Family Diner. The Crying Child is right beside the exit, and can make it out if he runs, urging him to hurry. He reminds the Crying Child of what he saw, telling him to escape and find help, since he knows what will happen if he is caught. The Crying Child can find help past the shadows of Fredbear and Springbonnie performing on stage, but he has to be strong. Upon collapsing to the floor and crying again, he again says that tomorrow is another day.

For Night 3, he tells the Crying Child that his brother hates him, he has to get up, and he can actually leave this time. For the remainder of the minigame, he simply stalks the Crying Child from various hiding spots, such as behind a car in the parking lot, as a flower by some sidewalks, and in a storm drain. He ends with the phrase that tomorrow is another day for the last time.

The Fredbear plush is completely absent from the following minigames until the sixth night. He appears in a black void again with the Crying Child and the rest of his plushie friends. Speaking in a slightly different shade of yellow, Crying Child is broken, they are still his friends, but does he still believe that? He is still there, and he will put him back together.
