This is a list of minor characters in the first Five Nights at Freddy's.
List of Characters[]
The Bite of '87 Victim[]
The Bite of '87 Victim is mentioned offhandedly in the first night's phone call. He comments on how amazing it is that, after getting bitten by an unspecified animatronic, the victim could survive without a frontal lobe.
The event is alluded to in the sequel, but his exact identity is purely speculative.
In The Week Before, the victim is revealed to be male and was left unable to speak or do much at all after the attack. This presumably means he could have been left paralyzed, comatose, or with some other severely inhibiting brain damage beyond just losing the frontal lobe. Ralph also mentions the victim apparently did something unknown to provoke the attack.
Previous Night Security Guards[]
“Uh most people don’t last this long. I mean, you know, th-they usually move on to other things by now. Uh, uh, I'm not implying that they died. Th-Th-That’s not what I meant.” |
On Night 3, Phone Guy states that most previous Freddy Fazbear's Pizza security guards left the position before even their third night on the job. He says he is not implying they died and they just move onto other things, but considering the circumstances, it is likely true for at least some of them.
Utah Police[]
“Police think that the suspect dressed as a mascot to earn the children's trust.” |
Local police were mentioned in three news stories regarding The Missing Children Incident. They correctly deduce the killer disguised himself as a mascot to gain the trust of his victims. Video surveillance identifies the suspect, and they apprehend the him the morning of June 27, after another two murders.
Authorities charge the perpetrator, but due to the lack of bodies, nothing is ever proven in a court of law. One headline claims a conviction, but the body only states he was charged, so it appears to be an error on the part of the editorial.
Parents later notice blood and mucus emitting from the characters' eyes and mouths, at which point, the police are once again called to the restaurant.
Health Department[]
“Local pizzaria, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza has been threatened again with shutdown by the health department over reports of foul odor coming from the much-loved animal mascots.” |
One paper mentions the health department threatening to shut down the pizzeria over foul odor coming from the animatronics and not for the first time either.
Fazbear Entertainment, Inc. Chief Executive Officer[]
“These characters will live on. In the hearts of kids- these characters will live on.” |
When Fazbear Entertainment, Inc. was announced to be closing at the end of the year after an unsuccessful year-long search for a buyer, the chief executive officer commented on the situation in a newspaper.
It is unknown if they are the same CEO from Five Nights at Freddy's 2 or if the position holder changed.
Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Customers[]
“Freddy Fazbear's Pizza has been fighting an uphill battle ever since to convince families to return to the pizzaria.” |
Drawings texture from Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted.
Articles describe how, after The Missing Children Incident, Freddy Fazbear's Pizza had a large decline in business and struggled to recover their customer base.
Parents later noticed blood and mucus around the faces of the animatronics and contacted the police. One parent specifically likened them to "reanimated carcasses."
Phone Guy's Night 1 call references that the characters hold a special place in the hearts of children, where the characters will live on after the pizzeria's closing, according to the company CEO.
Various children drawings are hung up on the pizzeria's walls.
Unknown Individual[]
“It's a tragedy.” |
An unknown individual is quoted on the Missing Children Incident and the decline of the establishment since the event.
