This is a list of minor characters in the Five Nights at Candy's series.

Five Nights at Candy's[]

Twins[]

A pair of twins sneak into the Rowboatics Corp. Factory on September 23, 1987. A minigame in Five Nights at Candy's 3 shows the Cat taking both of them and putting them through an assembly machine, causing them to possess Candy the Cat and Cindy the Cat. The cinematic of camera footage after Night 2 has no video input because of Shadow Rat, but the sound of their deaths can be heard, after which the camera is restored to reveal the bloody aftermath.

The crime scene is investigated by police the following day, and a newspaper headline about the event can be seen in Parts & Service. The Night 5 newspaper of Five Nights at Candy's 2 states that of all the deaths that have occurred in the factory, this incident is the most remembered.

Candy's Burgers & Fries Employees[]

After Night 1, the junior manager of Candy's Burgers & Fries puts up a note to ask other employees for information on the animatronics and some of their issues. He gets the responses of "They try to get to places they shouldn't be", "They act weird after dark", "They don't like adults", and "The last penguin interferes with the system" in reference to the only functioning penguin out of the three. It is repeatedly noted that the animatronics interact with kids normally, but stare at the employees, some of which have reported feeling threatened by the behavior.

Phone Guy often calls his coworkers superstitious and, on Night 5, talks about some of their guesses on what the extra storage room is. Apparent possibilities to them are an extra kitchen, a staircase to a secret tunnel, or bowling equipment the manager is hiding from his wife.

Mary Schmidt is employee 07, so there are presumably at least as many other employees.

Candy's Burgers & Fries Technician[]

The sole technician employed at Candy's Burgers & Fries is mentioned by Phone Guy on Night 4. He tried to fix Old Candy for a while after he attacked an adult customer, and tells Phone Guy to warn Mary about him potentially walking around as well.

Frank[]

Not what you were looking for? See Frank (disambiguation).

Frank is another security guard at Candy's Burgers & Fries, who was supposed to be on the night shift for Night 6, but does not show up for unknown reasons.

Candy's Burgers & Fries Customers[]

Phone Guy notes that after Freddy Fazbear's Pizza closed the previous week, the restaurant has had an uptick in customers.

Old Candy is put out of service after attacking a parent who was scolding his child, depicted more clearly via a minigame in Five Nights at Candy's 2.

As always, many kids' drawings are seen around the building, and on Blank too.

Jane[]

A girl named Jane wrote her name on Blank's lower jaw.

Bob[]

On Blank's jaw is the name of another child, named Bob.

Previous Night Security Guard[]

On Night 3, Phone Guy explains the night guard at Candy's Burgers & Fries before Mary. By his second night on the job, he brought a wrench with him and tried to destroy Blank. Blank ends up with his left arm and the back of his head missing, alongside several other holes, but Mary's predecessor is still ultimately unsuccessful and presumably fired afterward.

Although he had a larger storyline in the original game, spanning several phone calls, he is relegated to a brief mention in the revised lore.

Candy's Burgers & Fries Manager[]

The manager of Candy's Burgers & Fries tells his junior manager to inform Mary of the establishment's off-limits areas for the Night 5 message. The manager is adamant that employees, including security guards, don't go where they aren't supposed to, since he thinks it's not any of their business, even going as far as to remove them from the camera system minimap. He covers up Null as simply a storage room, and once talked about it having old unused equipment.

As joked at by Phone Guy, he doesn't smile, used to go bowling, and is married.

Forgotten Candy's Creator[]

After completing Night Null, a cinematic plays an audio log by the creator of Forgotten Candy. He will presumably play a bigger role in Five Nights at Candy's 4.

He questions his sanity, nothing works even though he knows it should, but won't stop until Forgotten Candy is perfect. He dislikes sleeping.

Five Nights at Candy's 2[]

Marylin's Classmates[]

Marylin Schmidt loses an undisclosed bet with her high school classmates and therefore has to spend five nights in the closed Rowboatics Corp. Factory.

Marylin's Friend[]

At the start of the game, Marylin has a text chat with her friend. They say she has to spend five nights in the old factory again or else everyone will think she is a chicken.

When Marylin goes to the abandoned factory, she lies that she is instead staying over with her friend. In the standard game over newspaper, her friend will come forward to reveal the truth of what had happened.

Mary's Husband[]

Mary's husband, and Marylin's father, is grouped together with his wife in the death newspapers.

Factory Casualties[]

The Night 5 newspaper states that, other than the twins, a total of four people have died in the Rowboatics Corp. Factory since it opened 45 years ago. One fatal incident in 1993 was what finally caused the facility to be deemed unsafe and closed.

Best-Selling Author[]

The headline underneath on Night 5 calls a best-selling author a sellout.

Forensics Team[]

In the newspaper for when Marylin is killed by the Rat or the Cat, a forensics team is called to the scene, comparing it to a bear mauling, but conclude it to be a murder.

The Police[]

The police appear in a minigame due to the killing of a security guard at Candy's Burgers & Fries, near the front entrance and police lights shine from outside. Eventually, two officers and a technician subdue New Candy.

They also investigate Marylin's death in the alternate game over newspaper.

Police Chief Barnes[]

We will continue the investigation until we've found out what happened here and the culprit is convicted. My most heartfelt condolences to friends and family, I will not rest until this vile criminal is behind bars.
Police Chief Barnes,

The newspaper for dying on Night 6 contains a quote from Police Chief Barnes. He appears to be very passionate about justice.

Experts[]

Unspecified experts deduce that the warehouse section of the factory is where the Night 6 fire originates from.

Unnamed Upset Child[]

An unnamed child in a red shirt seen in the third part of the night 6 minigame.

Unnamed Angry Dad[]

An unnamed dad in a in white shirt, black jacket, and blue pants seen in the third part of the night 6 minigame.

Fire Brigade[]

The local fire brigade arrives at 7 PM to put out the factory fire, but most of the building was already consumed by the fire and the whole thing collapses 13 hours later at 8 AM.

Candy's Burgers & Fries Customers[]

Crowds of children are seen at Candy's Burgers & Fries during the last minigame on Night 6.

Blank picks up several kids drawings throughout the minigames as well.

Candy's Burgers & Fries Security Guard[]

The Night 5 minigame shows the dead body of a security guard at Candy's Burgers & Fries in a pool of blood, presumably killed by the Rat. His murder leads to the closure of the restaurant.

Candy's Burgers & Fries Technicians[]

The Night 5 minigame is ended by a technician running up to New Candy with two police officers and a tool. He has a mustache, and can also be seen standing by the front entrance in the third Night 6 minigame.

A different technician in Parts & Service is startled by Old Candy and does the same action for the first minigame of Night 6.

Rat & Cat Theater Customers[]

In the secret final minigame, several parents and children are enjoying the grand reopening of the Rat & Cat Theater until they are mortified by the Rat's attack on Mary's brother.

Five Nights at Candy's 3[]

Mary's Doctor[]

Mary starts meeting with a doctor after she is traumatized by the Rat hitting her brother at the Rat & Cat Theater's grand reopening.

A new game opens with the doctor talking to Mary during a session two weeks later. After initially reassuring Mary, her doctor discusses the Rat & Cat Theater, with her father having already told her about what happened when they visited the previous year. They then ask if Mary has still had nightmares since their last meeting, and if they were about the monsters she drew. Mary is very creative, but she cannot let her fears take control of her imagination. The only way to make the nightmares end is that Mary must face her fears, the monsters, and show them she is not afraid. This opening ends with the doctor wanting Mary to try and remember what happened on that day a year ago.

After Night 5, Mary remembers what truly happened, realizing it wasn't her fault, and tells her doctor, even able to describe the details of the room. Her doctor says she is not alone and doesn't have to be scared anymore.

The doctor's notes afterward repeat these findings, describing how Mary blocked her memories of what transpired. It is recommended that Mary continues with weekly sessions until she fully recovers from her trauma. Additionally, a note is left for Ms. Sherwood to contact the authorities for a meeting to tell whoever handled the case about what Mary witnessed.

About six months later, the doctor's notes indicate that Mary's recovery is finally over. She's become more happy and energetic each session. She has had no more nightmares, and isn't afraid of the Rat and the Cat anymore. She has started drawing again and is letting her creativity run wild.

Ms. Sherwood[]

Ms. Sherwood is presumably an assistant or secretary to Mary's doctor. A note is left for her after Night 5 to schedule a meeting between the doctor and the authorities to reopen the case.

Mr. Schmidt[]

A few years before 1962, Mary had trouble sleeping almost every night, so her father gave her a cassette tape player. He made quiet music for her and put it on a tape so that she could sleep. The Schmidt family also moves at one point.

Every day for the week of October 9, he brings Mary to the Rat & Cat Theater. He is always standing on the right side in the coffee area for adults and can be talked to each day.

The first day, he asks if Mary is having fun, and he hopes she is happy with the place he picked out for them. Since her brother is away at camp, Mary gets to decide what they should have for dinner that night.

The next time, he simply asks if Mary made any friends.

On the third visit, he asks if Mary had met the Puppeteer, since he came early.

For the fourth minigame, he asks if Mary wants to go to Vinnie after the day's show for his birthday.

In the minigame for Night 5, he asks if Mary is excited to see what the surprise show is about. Lastly, after the Puppeteer's murders and the building is cleared out by police, he protests that his daughter is still inside. He barges past an officer to reunite with Mary when she finally leaves.

He later tells Mary's doctor about what happened.

Mrs. Schmidt[]

Mrs. Schmidt made Origami Cat with Mary before she died, remaining as the the final memory she has of her mother.

Rat & Cat Theater Customers[]

Throughout the minigame flashbacks to the Rat & Cat Theater, many adults and children are present. Mary can talk to other kids, but not adults.

In the first minigame, a man and woman are conversing in the bottom left, and two adults are at a table on the right. One girl is in the top left of the theater, and suggests hiding under tables. In the bottom right is a girl who says she hasn't seen the Puppeteer's puppet yet, but heard he's as big as a person. Another kid is next to the arcade games in the top right, complaining about how boring they are. He once asked the Rat if they could get new ones soon, but then he got a bit angry.

The second time, three adults are together at a table in front of the restrooms, and another two talk in the middle of the bottom. A child who would rather be on their bike and with their friends is in front of the entrance. They and their sister were dragged there by their parents. A kid near the theater stage asks if Mary enjoyed the previous day's show. They kind of liked it, especially the surprising ending, and thought it was funny when the Cat could not get down from a tree. Another girl at the arcade thinks she and Mary should be friends, due to how similar their dresses are. A kid at the bottom center talks about how much they dislike the place, citing how the unconvincing costumes break the atmosphere.

During Mary's third visit, three adults are at a table in the coffee area. In the bottom left is the girl from the first day that said she hadn't seen Vinnie yet. Her father told her that Vinnie was two different types of puppets in one. A boy who previously gave a drawing to the Cat is next to the arcades. He met the Puppeteer today and gave him a drawing too. Another kid has already beat their high scores on the arcade machines. They remark how the skills are useless, but wonder if people in the future could get paid for playing games.

On the fourth day, two adults stand in front of the restrooms, two are by the employee room, and another two are at a table. A kid who was at yesterday's show is by the stage, although they were not so early then. Another girl from Monday is in the arcade area, excited for Vinnie's birthday. A kid near the restrooms heard that the Rat and the Cat have real names, speculating what they could be. One kid outside the employee room thinks the place might be haunted by a ghost because they just heard someone crying inside.

For the Night 5 minigame, a large number of adults are throughout the entire theater. When Mary finds the Rat, 12 other children crowd around him, so he plays a game of hide-and-seek with everybody. The rest of the kids take up all of Mary's normal hiding spots in the past, forcing her to look elsewhere. In the immediately following minigame, a crowd of adults is gathered outside the building.

Police[]

After murdering his coworkers, the Puppeteer calls the police to report that he walked in on their dead bodies. They arrive to the Rat & Cat Theater to clear out everyone inside, missing Mary. Outside, one officer is talking to the Puppeteer, while another guarding the entrance is surprised by Mary's sudden appearance from inside. Mary's father additionally goes past an officer to protest that his daughter is still inside.

One newspaper also mentions how the employee supposed to be operating the Rat at the grand reopening was arrested for the apparent loss of control.

Mary's doctor eventually gets Mary's testimony to the police, reopening the case and arresting the Puppeteer.

Rat & Cat Theater Employees[]

Technicians at the crime scene of the reopened Rat & Cat Theater could not figure out a reason for the Rat to have acted without input from the control panel. The employee controlling him claims that the animatronic moved on its own and he merely tried to stop it, but is blamed and arrested for the incident, with the outcome of his trial unknown.

Medical Experts[]

Medical experts explain the deaths of the two Rat & Cat Theater actors in one of the newspapers. One even thinks the actor for the Rat could have been paralyzed during the ordeal.
