“So I guess I had a day. It was a day.” |
Mia Fremont is one of the protagonists of The Man in Room 1280, the third story in Fazbear Frights 5: Bunny Call. She is a cheerful and sweet woman who begins working in the hospice wing of Heracles Hospital around the time strange events begin occurring there.
Physical Appearance[]
Mia is a young woman with her blonde hair pulled into a taut ponytail. She has a square face with a wide mouth, lively blue eyes, and bright makeup.[1] Mia’s hands are small and soft.[2] She wears a dark blue nurse’s uniform.
Personality[]
Mia is perky and energetic. She can also be rather curious, constantly eavesdropping on people. Mia isn’t squeamish and enjoys gore, finding it cool to see nature at work. When she initially gets hired to work in the hospice wing of Heracles Hospital, Mia is resentful and nervous, but eventually finds her work satisfying and feels empathy towards the families.
History[]
When Mia was a child, she came across an odor in an adjacent apartment and discovered the body of an elderly woman who lived alone. Although she hated the smell, she found the sight of the mass of magots on the corpse to be cool. Later in life, Mia decided to become a nurse, going to nursing school and getting a job at a prison hospital. When she tried looking for better positions, she can only find a job at the hospice wing at Heracles Hospital. Although she felt resentful that her high qualifications and excellent references only landed her a job there, her boyfriend's continual reminder that the job was a stepping stone made things a little better.
Mia arrives at Heracles Hospital on her first day and meets Arthur Blythe outside. She has doubts about the hospital, and hesitates to go inside at first. Mia tells Arthur that she wanted the nurse position at Glendale Hospital instead of Heracles. Arthur talks to Mia and convinces her to join him as he goes inside. After they enter the building, Mia leaves Arthur as he is lead away by Nurse Ackerman. During lunch, Nurse Ackerman, Nurse Thomas, and Nurse Colton enter talking about Arthur. When she hears Nurse Ackerman call Arthur a moron, she tunes in more closely. Mia hears them talk about a man with evil inside of him that Arthur just doesn't see yet. Mia wonders if she should talk to Arthur. Sometime later, she comes across a little boy that frightens her. Towards the end of the day, Mia runs into Arthur as he's leaving. She tells him about her day before asking if he believes there's evil in the hospital and if she spent the day with someone in the hospice wing. Before she can explain why she's asking, her boyfriend arrives. Arthur tells Mia to always keep her mind open.
While checking on her patients during her second day, Mia sees a shadow dash past the slightly open door to a storage room. She goes to investigate but stops when she overhears her fellow nurses planning to kill a patient. They decide to get morphine for Nurse Ackerman to use on him, and as Mia steps away she sees the little boy from yesterday slip out of the storage room. He frightens her again before he runs off. Over the next few days, Mia continues to eavesdrop on the nurses, eventually getting caught. The nurses decide to tell Mia about the man in room 1280, but say she isn't ready to see him yet. They also have her confess to seeing the little boy, which having been messing with their plans. Mia also occasionally runs into Arthur, who is desperately attempting to get the man out of the hospital so he can visit Fazbear Entertainment Distribution Center.
Five days after Mia starts working at the hospital, she meets up with Arthur during lunch. Mia tells Arthur about having run into the little boy four times, and suggests that he use the boy to his advantage by bugging admin non-stop while they attempt to deal with the chaos. Sometime later, Mia listens from outside of room 1280 and once again spots the little boy running away. Nurse Colton runs outside of the room and Mia points towards the direction of where the boy ran. Having seen a glimpse of what Nurse Colton was doing, she decides to let Mia see the man. Upon seeing the man, Mia thinks back to the conversations her fellow nurses had about evil and extermination, and she now understands why her fellow nurses see a need to kill the man.
Unfortunately, Mia's plan works and Arthur gets permission to remove the man. Mia stays outside of the hospital's legal offices waiting for Arthur to exit. When he does, she leads him down the hall and attempts to convince him not to take the man, but she can tell that he's already made up his mind. She fearfully asks him what will happen if things go wrong, but Arthur stays optimistic. The two hug, and they say goodbye, knowing they'll see each other again sometime later.
