History[]
Mega Cat Studios was founded in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, by James Deighan, Nick Mann, and Zack Manko in 2016, where they would release the studio's first game, along with Nathaniel Wilson, Andrew March, and Lauri Coderbrah, Almost Hero, for the Nintendo Entertainment System. Later, in February 2017, Mega Cat would publish Coffee Crisis for the Nintendo Entertainment System, later porting it to Windows and other consoles,PS4, Xbox One, etc., making Coffee Crisis the studio's first ported title. Mega Cat balances working for brands and their own IP with clients they've worked with, including the Pittsburgh Pirates, Devolver Digital, and Columbia Records. The studio's title, Log Jammers, was an official selection of the 2018 Indie Magebooth and won the "Best Digital Game Play" and "Digital Game of the Year" awards at Gameacon 2017. In 2020, ten of the studios' titles were included in a cartridge for the Evercade gaming system.

Trivia[]
- In the second Dawko interview with Scott Cawthon for the 10-year anniversary, Scott stated that he would like to get Mega Cat Studios to do an adaptation of the story Fetch after the release of Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit.[1]
- Mega Cat also hopes to make another game for the franchise.[2]
- During the development of Into the Pit, Mega Cat would go silent for up to 8 months at a time; the time between updates would be so long that Scott started asking his team if Into the Pit was OK and if they needed to check up on the team. All his worries would be alleviated when Mega Cat would send a progress update with a bunch of sprites, assets, and more.[3]
- In a Pittsburgh City Paper interview, Mega Cat stated that they pitched an idea to Scott Cawthon before the Into the Pit story was released. Meaning the Into the Pit game has been in development since at least the release of the story in December 2019.[2]
