Masks are one of the recurring objects found in a couple of Five Nights at Freddy's games. Most of the masks are designed after Fazbear Entertainment's animatronic characters and basically worn by children during their visit at the animatronic band restaurant chains.

Usable Animatronic Masks

A list of animatronic masks used for the player's advantage and defense. The Freddy mask is the most recurring mask of the whole series as it can be used in few different ways for the player's survival.

Freddy Fazbear

The Freddy mask icon from Help Wanted.

Main article: Freddy Fazbear Head

The mask made after Freddy Fazbear. First debuted in Five Nights at Freddy's 2 and several games later on, the mask is primarily used as the player's self-defense to fool almost every hostile animatronic, later in the Five Nights at Freddy's 3 game's "Happiest Day, and notably in Five Nights at Freddy's 4's end-of-night minigames as worn by one of the the crying child's older brother's friends.

In the Curse of Dreadbear DLC for Five Nights at Freddy's VR: Help Wanted, an alternate version of the Freddy mask appears in Spooky Mansion's "Trick or Treat" level segment where the player can use it to prevent Withered Freddy from jumpscaring, and also appears in Afraid of the Dark's "Plushkin Patch" level segment as worn by the PlushKin in red dress.

Bonnie

The Bonnie mask icon from Help Wanted.

The mask made after Bonnie, and was first seen in the Five Nights at Freddy's 3 game's "Happiest Day" minigame,and notably in Five Nights at Freddy's 4's end-of-night minigames as worn by one of the the crying child's older brother's friends.

It later appeared in the "Trick or Treat" level segment from Help Wanted's Curse of Dreadbear DLC where the player can use it to avoid from getting jumpscared by Withered Bonnie.

Chica

The mask made after Chica, and was first seen in the "Happiest Day" minigame from Five Nights at Freddy's 3, and notably in Five Nights at Freddy's 4's end-of-night minigames as worn by one of the the crying child's older brother's friends.

In Help Wanted, it reappeared in the "Trick or Treat" level of the Halloween DLC where the player can use it to avoid from getting jumpscared by Withered Chica. The mask was also seen in the "Plushkin Patch" level, worn by the PlushKin in yellow dress.

Foxy

The mask made after Foxy, and was first seen in Five Nights at Freddy's 3's "Happiest Day" minigame, and notably in Five Nights at Freddy's 4's end-of-night minigames as worn by the crying child's older brother.

The mask reappeared in the "Trick or Treat" level from the Halloween DLC for Help Wanted, where the player can use it to avoid from getting jumpscared by Withered Foxy. Furthermore, the mask appeared in the "Plushkin Patch", worn by the PlushKin in red dress.

BB

The Balloon Boy mask icon from Help Wanted.

The mask made after Balloon Boy. In Help Wanted, the mask was used in the Halloween DLC's "Trick or Treat" level to prevent BB from jumpscaring. BB's mask also appeared in the "Plushkin Patch" level, where it was worn by the PlushKin in blue dress.

Mangle

The mask made after Mangle. In Help Wanted, the player can use this mask from the Halloween DLC to fend off Mangle to make them move away from the windows.

Glamrock Freddy

The mask made after Glamrock Freddy. In Security Breach, it can be located in the kitchen area of Superstar Daycare.

Glamrock Chica

Glamrock Chica's mask in Security Breach.

The mask made after Glamrock Chica. In Security Breach, it can be found behind Glamrock Chica's green room.

Montgomery Gator

Montgomery Gator's mask in Security Breach.

The mask made after Montgomery Gator. In Security Breach, it can be found in the Prize Counter, near Monty's plushies.

Roxanne Wolf

Roxanne Wolf's mask in Security Breach.

The mask made after Roxanne Wolf. In Security Breach, it can be found at the top of some scaffolding in the bottom right of the room Glamrock Freddy broke down in.

Minor Animatronic Masks

A list of animatronic masks that were merely used for scenery.

Golden Freddy

The mask made after Golden Freddy. It was only seen in the "Happiest Day" minigame from Five Nights at Freddy's 3, where the crying child spirit at the far end of the minigame wore Golden Freddy's mask when the cake gets delivered by the Puppet-like child.

Unidentified Animatronics

In the "Happiest Day" minigame from Five Nights at Freddy's 3, a total of five children are seen wearing masks as identified in the following order: green, pink, purple, blue, and orange.

These masks are assumed to be based on the Mediocre Melodies animatronics (who never appeared in existence until the release of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator) due to their corresponding colors, excluding the blue mask and Nedd Bear. Although, due to possible minigame limitations, none of the masks' face designs match the actual animatronics, with the only exception to Pigpatch.

Other Masks

Vanny's Mask

Vanny's mask found in Help Wanted.

Main article: Vanny's Mask

Referred as "StrangeMask" from the game files of Help Wanted, this mask is crafted as a smiling white rabbit with pink-red eyes and a brown spot. It was worn by Vanny, the main antagonist of Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach, while her mask will be used as one of Cassie's equipment in the game's RUIN campaign.

In Help Wanted, this mask can be obtained by completing the Corn Maze level in the Curse of Dreadbear DLC, unlocked by going into the cellar. After unlocking it, it'll appear in the Prize Counter already spawned in, and functions similar to the other masks. When this mask is put on, the player will return to the Title Screen of Curse of Dreadbear.

Trivia

• In Help Wanted, there is an unused screenshot for Spooky Mansion's "Trick or Treat" level segment found in the Halloween DLC's files, where other masks aside Freddy's mask used the same model albeit recolored. These were meant as placeholders before the unique mask models were even implemented.
• In Help Wanted, the animatronic masks can be unlocked as prizes for the Prize Counter.
