Marilyn Schmidt is the daughter of Mary Schmidt and the protagonist of Five Nights at Candy's 2. She is mentioned in myPOPGOES.
Physical Appearance[]
Like many of the protagonists from the core series, Marilyn's physical appearance is never revealed due to the first-person perspective of the game. It can be assumed that she somewhat resembles her mother, but beyond that, nothing is known.
Personality[]
Marylin's personality has yet to be fully explored in the Five Nights at Candy's games, though parts of her personality are seen in diary entries in myPOPGOES. She is shown to be interested in the paranormal, investigating the field with Bonnie Glade and later collaborating with her on The Violet Project. She is also shown to be very close with her mother, Mary, with whom she regularly discusses their shared experiences. Bonnie describes their discussions as "shared therapy".

Marylin was born between 1989 and 1990, being the daughter of Mary Schmidt and her unnamed husband. At some point in her life, she became acquainted with Bonnie Glade, whom she became close friends with over their shared experiences with their parents.
Five Nights at Candy's 2[]
At the age of 17, Marylin loses a bet with her friends and is forced to spend five nights at the Rowboatics Corp. Factory, surviving the animatronics attacks there. She returns for a sixth night, in which she faces RAT and CAT. Afterwards, the factory catches fire through unknown means, and whether she survives the event is unknown.

Later in life, Marylin Schmidt collaborated with Bonnie Glade on The Violet Project, which was an attempt to compile information on paranormal topics. The full extent of her involvement in the project is currently unknown.

- The evidence is that, according to the last newspaper, fire emerged from the warehouse section of The Factory, the place where the game is set, and that the fire was most likely caused by overheated equipment, like a Maintenance Panel.
