Kai is the main character of Tiger Rock, the first story from Tales from the Pizzaplex 7: Tiger Rock. Despite appearing in Tiger Rock, he actually made his first appearance in Nexie, the first story from Tales from the Pizzaplex 6: Nexie, as a minor character.
Physical Appearance[]
Kai is described as having shared traits with his native Hawaiian mother. He has frizzy black hair, brown eyes, and dark skin. He also shares his mother's short, slight shape. Unlike the rest of his classmates, Kai prefers to wear Hawaiian shirts and baggy cotton pants. For example, he’s wearing a yellow and purple Hawaiian shirt when he visits the Mega Pizzaplex.
Personality[]
Kai describes himself as "chill" and laid-back. While things do occasionally get to him, he mostly goes with the flow, something his mother encourages him to do.
History[]
Kai was born on Oahu, and he spent the first seven years of his life on the island with his native Hawaiian mother and his "cowboy" dad. His mother had just started teaching Kai how to surf when his father started a real-estate company that made his family move to the states. Now at a new school, it became hard for Kai to make any friends. When he was sixth grade, he met Todd and Asher and called themselves the “Timeless Trio”. Now as a group, they explore the town as well as the Mega Pizzaplex.
