The Game Over screen that displays after getting killed by the funtime animatronic.

This is a list of all jumpscares in Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location.

Overview[]

Main story campaign[]

Like the previous games, if jumpscared, the player will receive a "Game Over" screen, and be sent back to the menu.

Bidybab[]

On Night 2, while hiding under the desk, the player will face the Bidybabs. The player must keep them out with a metal sheet. Through this segment Bidybabs will try peering through the sheet's holes and attempt to wrest it open twice. The player must hold the sheet down and prevent the dolls from opening the sheet, otherwise, a Bidybab will jumpscare the player.

Ballora[]

Later in Night 2, the player must crawl through Ballora Gallery while avoiding Ballora. Ballora will try to find the player, freely roaming the gallery. She is blind and cannot see the player, even if they lay right below her. Instead, she will attempt to try and find the player through sound. To ensure she is not nearby, the player must listen to audio cues in the form of her music. If it becomes too loud, that means she is close. Moving at such a moment will result in Ballora jumpscaring the player. Running will also cause her to come closer.

Funtime Freddy[]

During the final segment of Night 2 in the Breaker Room, the player is tasked with resetting systems of the entire Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental facility. While doing so, Funtime Freddy will attempt to attack the player. He will approach faster, as the Danger meter goes up. The bar stays at 1 by default, but holding the rest panel up will raise it to 2, while resetting causes it to jump to 3. To prevent Freddy from reaching the player, one must play Bon-Bon's audio sample, trying to convince Freddy he is not there. If Freddy reaches the player, he will jumpscare them.

Funtime Foxy[]

At the start of Night 3, the player must get through Funtime Auditorium, without bumping into Funtime Foxy. To check if he is nearby, as well as to scare him off, the player must flash the beacon. Moving while Foxy is in the way will result in a jumpscare. Foxy can also, on rare occasion, be replaced with Yenndo. Despite Foxy not being present in such a scenario, moving towards Yenndo will also result in Foxy's jumpscare.

After leaving the Parts and Service room and attempting to leave the facility through Funtime Auditorium, there is a scripted scene where Foxy will attack the player no matter what they do. This will end the night.

Bon-Bon[]

In the second segment of Night 3, after removing Funtime Freddy's power module, Bon-Bon will start moving around his puppeteer's deactivated body. If the player fails to click Bon-Bon's button in time, he will pop out and jumpscare the player, causing a Game Over.

Minireena[]

On Night 4, a Minireena will jumpscare the player if they fail to either keep the springlocks wound up or let one of the Minireenas reach the top of the costume.

Ennard[]

Incomplete[]

On Night 5, if the player fails to input the code spoken by Circus Baby fast enough, a maskless Ennard will pop out and jumpscare the player. Not following Baby's instructions in Funtime Auditorium or trying to open the Private Room without the access card will result in Ennard popping out from the darkness and jumpscaring the player.

Masked[]

In The Private Room, the player must face off against masked Ennard. They will try to come inside the office through either door, or the vents. Player must keep a watch on them and shut the corresponding door when they are close. Failure to keep Ennard out of the Private Room will result in a jumpscare.

They have two distinct jumpscares: one where they force the camera monitor down and a regular one.

Custom Night[]

Various animatronics in the mode can jumpscare the player, though unlike the rest of the game, they simply send the player back to the Custom Night selection screen if they do this.

Ballora[]

Ballora will jumpscare the player if they do not shut the doors on her when she goes down a hallway. The player can tell how close she is by the volume of her music. Regardless of which preset is selected, Ballora will always jumpscare if the player runs out of power.

Funtime Freddy and Bon-Bon[]

Bon-Bon, under Funtime Freddy's command, will jumpscare the player if they do not shut the door on him when he goes down a hallway. The player needs to know where Freddy is at all times. Whenever Freddy laughs, he moves to the other side of The Private Room. Whenever Freddy says "Bon-Bon, go get him!" that means Bonnie will come from the same side Freddy is on, while "Ready for a surprise!" will have him come from the opposite side.

Yenndo[]

Yenndo will randomly appear in the office when putting the camera monitor down. The player must pick the monitor back up to make him disappear. Failure to do so will result in a jumpscare.

Funtime Foxy[]

Funtime Foxy will jumpscare the player if they do not shut the right door on them when they leave their stage.

Bonnet[]

Bonnet will occasionally show up in the office when the camera monitor is put down. The player must click on her nose before she reaches the left side of the screen. Failure to do so will result in death.

Bidybab[]

Bidybab will try to reach the player be crawling through the front vent. The player must close the door on her whenever she's too close to the opening (with the her final stage being easy to tell, as she appears with open faceplates). If she manages to enter the office, she will jumpscare the player.

Lolbit[]

Lolbit will occasionally appear on the three monitors in the office. The player must type "LOL" either on the keypad in front of them, or on their keyboard. Failure to do so will result in a non-lethal jumpscare that serves purely as a distraction.

Minireena[]

Up to 5 Minireenas can show up on the player's face. While not a conventional jumpscare, it serves as one and can be startling. It is non-lethal and serves purely as a distraction.

Trivia[]

  • Oddly, during Bon-Bon's jumpscare, his eyes move slightly backwards.
  • Funtime Freddy's jumpscare is very similar to Freddy's second jumpscare in the first game.
    • It is also similar to Freddy's jumpscare in the second game, as both suddenly pop out from the right.
  • Ennard is the only character in the entire series to have more than two jumpscares, that being four.
  • Circus Baby is the only character in the game to not have a jumpscare.
    • Although, from the end of the game's trailer, Baby can be seen shaking violently while exposing her endoskeleton face appears to be possibly a jumpscare.
      • Although it may just be Circus Baby receiving a controlled shock in the Circus Gallery.
  • Masked Ennard's second jumpscare is similar to Phantom Freddy's jumpscare from Five Nights at Freddy's 3.
  • According to Scott Cawthon on his Steam post, Funtime Foxy's jumpscare frightened him while beta-testing the game.
  • The "Game Over" screen is very similar to that of Five Nights at Freddy's 3.
  • 1716
    Originally, Baby's face with red hue was meant to be shown in the Game Over screen.
  • There are a total of 5 different animatronic screams used for the jumpscares. One for the Bidybabs and Minireenas, one for Funtime Freddy, one for Ballora, Bon-Bon, and Ennard in Parts/Service, one for Funtime Foxy and Ennard in Funtime Auditorium, and one for Ennard and the Custom Night animatronics in the Private Room.
