Jackie is an antagonist in Five Nights at Freddy's: Secret of the Mimic. She was revealed in the first teaser and later the demo of Secret of the Mimic at PAX West 2024. Jackie made a cameo appearance in Help Wanted 2 within the gallery after a major content update teasing Secret of the Mimic.
Physical Appearance
Jackie is an animatronic based heavily on a jack-in-the-box, taking on the appearance of a birthday clown. Jackie has a white painted face, with red eyebrows, red lipstick, which goes up to her cheeks, and blue eyeliner. Her eyelashes are painted on both sides, each having two red lashes and one blue lash. Jackie has large, green eyes, and a big red nose. She also has a split down the middle of her face, similar to that of the Funtime Animatronics from Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location. Jackie has red hair that extends into two, braided pigtails, each decorated with a yellow hair tie. She is also wearing a large, white party hat with a diamond pattern, a yellow frilled brim, and a yellow cotton ball on top. Jackie has a wide smile, revealing a set of very round teeth. There is also a speaker in Jackie's mouth. Her head and jaw are separate pieces.
Jackie's body adorns a white pintuck shirt tucked into a blue hem, and she wears a large red bowtie with three red cotton balls underneath. Her shirt has frills on both shoulders with red edges. Jackie's arms are orange, accordion-tube like appendages with blue creases. She is also wearing blue wristbands with yellow frills. Jackie's hands are white with blue fingertips, and are attached to her arms with silver ball joints. Jackie also wears a white tutu with a red diamond pattern.
Because Jackie is a jack-in-the-box character, she has no legs, instead being attached to a large music box. The music box is blue, with a dark blue diamond pattern and bronze highlights. There is a bronze crank on the front of the box with a red handle. According to multiple PAX attendees who played the demo of Five Nights at Freddy's: Secret of the Mimic, Jackie tears herself from the box while trying to pursue the player, explaining the exposed metal and wiring on the physical prop. Broken metal framing can also be seen inside of the torso of Jackie's model in Help Wanted 2.

Theories and Speculation

- Due to promotional material currently presenting her as the main antagonist of Secret of the Mimic, it is heavily speculated that she is actually the titular Mimic itself.
- Some fans also speculate that Jackie is simply under the influence of the Mimic's programming, as it is unclear how the Mimic would physically fit inside because of Jackie's arms.
- The Jackie seen in promotional material and at PAX West could also be different versions of the character, with one being Mimic, as they both have details that are different from one another. The key art shows red eyeliner instead of Jackie's blue, what seems to be pink and blue cheeks instead of a light purple, the trailer shows a much dirtier and slightly roughed up mask, the lack of hair and eye brows, and, most notably, the eyes are small glowy, orange eyes, while Jackie is seen with large green eyes.
- Some of Jackie's design details resembles the third, Buddy Paper Pal found hanging in Party Room 4 in Five Nights at Freddy's 2 and the Paperpals in FNaF World.
- Some have also observed that she slightly resembles a drawing of a clown hanging on the office wall in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator, though this is likely a coincidence, as the drawing is closer to the appearance of (And probably based on) another clown seen on a poster in Lefty's rare boot/death screen.
- When wound, Jackie's music box plays "My Grandfather's Clock", the same song heard from The Puppet's music box. It is possible that there is a connection between the two characters.
Trivia
- Jackie bears a similar appearance to Coils the Birthday Clown from the Fazbear Frights series.
- Jackie's face resembles the blank clown mask used by Ennard. Note that both have a split in the middle of their mask, including the lower jaw, and wear a party hat.
- Jackie's name is a pun on the term "Jack-in-the-Box," a popular children's toy from the early 16th century.
- Jackie's music box plays "My Grandfather's Clock" when wound, the same song played by the The Puppet's music box in Five Nights at Freddy's 2.
