Ike is a six-year-old boy and major character of Five Nights at Freddy's: VIP, the zeroth edition of the interactive novel series. He is the excitable younger brother of Devon and a huge fan of Glamrock Chica.
Physical Appearance[]
Ike and Devon apparently look extremely similar. Devon describes him as a "mobile snot factory."
When Ike goes to the Pizzaplex, his mother dresses him in a bright orange shirt with "SAY CHEESE" on the front, so that he is easier to spot from a crowd. She apparently often puts him on a child harness.
Personality[]
Ike is a hyperactive six-year-old boy, who wanders often enough that his Mom tends to put him on a child harness. He is very excitable and impressionable, and quickly agrees to do whatever VIP wants; more than one ending shows him doing questionable things while under the pig's influence. While he tends to focus on what he wants, Devon is able to distract him with things he likes, such as Chica-themed merchandise or a carousel, his favorite kind of ride.
Ike does, however, get very scared in the endings where VIP traps him inside the photobooth. When Devon looks at the photos taken, he sees Ike slowly start to break down. He seems to get overstimulated when first entering the Pizzaplex.
His favorite character is Chica, though he's at first scared to meet her tall animatronic.
History[]
When Ike was a baby, he had a Chica-themed bib with "LET'S EAT" printed on it, along with a Mr. Cupcake plush that he took with him everywhere. When he was about three, his plush went missing. His parents blamed Devon for it, despite Ike insisting that Mr. Cupcake "runned away." The plush was never found.
Five Nights at Freddy's: VIP[]
When Ike is six, Devon wins two special VIP passes to Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex through an email. The boys' mother forces him to take an excited Ike along with him as his plus one, marking the first time Ike ever visits the Pizzaplex. While she has second thoughts while dropping them off, Devon convinces her that they'll be fine and takes Ike inside.
Ike is initially overstimulated by the place, though Devon still takes him inside. The two are given old VIP passes, and can either try them at the terminal or the gate. If they go to the gate, Glamrock Chica will greet them and redirect them to the terminal. Ike is at first afraid of the large glamrock, but is happy once she is nice to him and his brother.
At the terminal, the brothers are greeted by the digital Very Informative Pig, who gives them a gamepad with him inside and asks them to be his friend and follow his instructions. Ike immediately agrees, finding the pig to be cute.
Don't Make a Promise You Can't Keep[]
Devon says that he doesn't want "Pig Brother" telling him what to do. An upset VIP does allow the boys to continue, and offers to take them on a behind-the-scenes tour. The boys are led into the maintenance tunnels, where VIP then tricks Ike into trapping the boys in a storage room containing four bodies in various stages of decomposition, having been tricked by VIP and locked inside. VIP gloats that the boys will now stay with him forever.
Promise to Stick with VIP all Day[]
Ike excitedly asks Devon to take him to Bonnie Bowl, and Devon has the choice to either do such or to ditch him and VIP at the Carousel. If he takes Ike to Bonnie Bowl, Ike has a good time for the rest of the day, though he's bad at bowling and Devon is left upset.
If Devon directs him to the merry-go-round, Ike immediately changes his mind and runs for one of the Chica seats. Once Devon leaves to go to the arcade, VIP then directs the boy into a photo booth, where he locks him inside as incentive for Devon to complete his "challenge."
Endings[]
If Devon contacts security after being challenged by the pig, nobody is ever able to find Ike, and Devon's family moves away without knowing what happened to him.
If Devon calls his mother after being challenged, VIP lets Ike out quickly, and Ike, ignorant of the danger he was just in, simply tells his mother that they were playing hide-and-seek and Devon refused to find him. He takes the VIP gamepad home with him, and is attached to it for the next several days as the pig continues to talk to him. Eventually, the pig convinces him to run away back to the Pizzaplex, and he disappears.
If Devon takes on the challenge, Ike remains in the photo booth. At first excited, he soon becomes scared and upset, as telegraphed by the pictures taken.
- If Devon reaches 1,000 points, VIP lets Ike go, and Ike races out to his brother. The two of them are able to leave, but find out that VIP is planning to do this to more children, and that nobody will believe them if they try to report him.
- If Devon reaches 100,000 points and shuts off VIP, Ike is able to escape the photo booth once the power goes out. He reports the program to the security guard with Devon, and agrees to never tell their mother what happened.
