Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach[]

  • On September 16, 2020, when the first Security Breach trailer was released on Playstation, Kellen Goff tweeted the voiceline that was heard at the ending of the trailer[1], implying that he voices one of the male glamrock animatronics in the game, most likely Glamrock Freddy.
    • One year later on October 27, 2021, Kellen confirmed after the final Security Breach trailer was released, that he indeed voices Glamrock Freddy as well as the Daycare Attendant.
  • Glamrock Freddy is the only counterpart of Freddy to be an ally and the first animatronic to truly help the player with no ulterior motives.
  • Glamrock Freddy is the fifth counterpart of Freddy to be voiced by Kellen Goff, with the first four being Funtime Freddy, Molten Freddy, Fredbear, and Freddy from the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Theme Song.
  • Glamrock Freddy in the pre-rendered cutscene that plays when the Vanny option is selected at the exits is always shown to have Montgomery Gator's claw upgrade, but Gregory can trigger this option even if he does not have that upgrade yet.
  • Glamrock Freddy's battery only drains while Gregory is inside him. This means when standing idly or moving on his own when Gregory calls him over, his battery level will remain the same.
  • Unlike the other glamrock animatronics, Glamrock Freddy never uses contractions in his dialogue ("it's" instead of "it is" for example) but the reason for this is unknown. He will still use possessive contractions ("Roxy's" for example) as normal, however. This is intentional and Kellen even had to help check for any uses of such in the script.
    • This seems to be a part of the animatronic's safe mode, as in RUIN, Roxy also speaks in a similar manner to Freddy after rebooting herself.
  • Glamrock Freddy originally had no animation when stunned by the Fazerblaster or Faz Camera, only talking to comment on the friendly fire. An update made it more obvious he was affected by adding a stun animation.
  • Audio recordings in Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex of Glamrock Freddy's voice cast his personality as an excitable, upbeat character compared to the calm animatronic seen in the game, as seen in Fazer Blast and the elevator, making Glamrock Freddy feel slightly ashamed of the obnoxious tone of the loudspeaker. When the elevator recording plays, Glamrock Freddy has to tell Gregory that it is just a recording, and not to get confused. When Freddy's intercom voice at Fazer Blast is heard, Freddy asks if Gregory thinks he is annoying.
  • Upgrading Glamrock Freddy with Glamrock Chica's voicebox puts a voice filter over any of his voice lines spoken at any point after the upgrade is complete, but this feature was originally bugged, as some lines were never altered, and for others it eventually wore off. After a patch, this issue is fixed and all voice lines spoken after receiving the upgrade receive the voice filter.
  • The Halloween banner for Security Breach depicts a 3D-modeled version of Glamrock Freddy's appearance when broken in the Disassemble Ending, likely a holdout from earlier plans to animate the endings in 3D before using the comic panels for the endings instead.
  • There are quite a few plot holes regarding Glamrock Freddy, particularly around the six endings of the game. After Gregory successfully finds an exit at 6:00 AM, Freddy laments that he cannot come with him, due to him running out of power if not in contact with a recharge station. This is a strange statement, considering that in the Burntrap and Redemption endings, he does not appear to need a recharge station anymore after escaping the Pizzaplex with Gregory. However, he does run out of power in the Getaway ending, though it is unknown why he does not attack Gregory as he would during usual gameplay, unless he was too far away from Glitchtrap for the programming to activate, or because Gregory is not inside him at the time.
  • During RUIN, Glamrock Freddy can be heard singing a Happy Fazbear Birthday song. An unused clean version in the files starts the song with Glamrock Freddy beatboxing the first few notes of the Toreador March, referencing a viral meme in which Tiktok user Abdul Cisse did a beatbox cover of "Five Nights at Freddy's Song" by The Living Tombstone, which starts with the Toreador March.
  • He is the only "Security Breach" animatronic to have a Pocket Pop!
    • However, this is actually a recolour of Rockstar Freddy's Pocket Pop!, as evident by the poles holding his jaw together

Bugs[]

  • Occasionally, summoning Glamrock Freddy can glitch out and teleport him into an area Gregory cannot reach on their own, like the fence gates that upgrades are needed to break. He can also be glitched into appearing in scripted events where Gregory cannot call for him naturally.
    • Calling Glamrock Freddy causes him to head towards Gregory's exact position, but if Gregory moves away from this position, it means Glamrock Freddy will often run past Gregory if he moves in the other direction, or come to a stop is Gregory goes further away in the same direction Glamrock Freddy is coming.
  • Like all enemy animatronics, Glamrock Freddy can open security doors Gregory has no access to, even those Gregory cannot reach normally. However, invisible walls can still keep Gregory from directly entering the open doorways.
  • Glamrock Freddy will still speak any of his friendly fire dialogue if Gregory stuns him during the Burntrap sequence after Burntrap successfully takes over Glamrock Freddy, despite not being in control of himself at this moment.
  • Jumping and entering Glamrock Freddy’s stomach will cause Gregory to glitch the environment, unloading a majority of the world, which was fixed in the February 2022 patch.
  • The voice filter overlaying Glamrock Freddy's voice when upgraded with Glamrock Chica's voicebox is also applied to voice lines that technically come from the loudspeaker rather than Glamrock Freddy himself, such as the recording in the elevator.
  • Occasionally, Glamrock Freddy will appear to darken then go into a t-pose while all four of his limbs will stretch until they hit a solid object.
    • Furthermore, he may also infinitely repeat the last non-cutscene voiceline he spoke, eventually leading to a crash.
