The funtime animatronics are advanced animatronic models and attractions of Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental and Circus Baby's Pizza World.

They first appeared in Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location as the main antagonists. Some of them returned in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator, Ultimate Custom Night, Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted, Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery and Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2. Some of them also make cameo appearances in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach.

Physical Appearance

The funtime animatronics have highly upgraded models and detailed endoskeletons, with rosy cheeks of a red and purple and a palette of colors among which white, pink and purple protrude. Additionally, they feature small spaces in their bodies that split parts of their suits into plates, allowing them to swivel open (especially the faces).

Functionality

The funtime animatronics possess advanced AI, created and designed by Afton Robotics, LLC for Fazbear Entertainment, Inc. It is revealed that the funtime animatronics each have roles in capturing and subsequently murdering children. It is also indicated through their dialogue that they, much like other animatronics in the franchise, are self-aware.

Animatronics

Circus Baby

Main article: Circus Baby

“A humanoid animatronic and the mascot of Circus Baby's Pizza World. Circus Baby is possessed by the spirit of Elizabeth Afton, William Afton's daughter, who was snatched by the animatronic after being told to stay away from her. After the possession, Circus Baby's eyes turned green. Circus Baby assists in her father's plans, particularly in The Fourth Closet. In Sister Location, she orchestrates the escape of the animatronics from Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental.” — The Ultimate Guide, page 266

Circus Baby, also known as Scrap Baby in her FFPS-UCN appearances, is the mascot of Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental. She first appeared in Sister Location as the main antagonist, where she resides in the Circus Gallery. Her companions are the Bidybabs.

Ballora

“A sound-activated ballerina animatronic with painted white skin, rosy cheeks, blue hair, and a purple tutu. She occupies Ballora Gallery in Sister Location, and sings a creepy song on Night 2 if you listen closely. A ballerina dancer animatronic and first appeared in Sister Location, where she resides in the Ballora Gallery. Her companion are the Minireenas.

Funtime Freddy

“A funtime animatronic with Freddy Fazbear's design. Funtime Freddy contains a special arm that can be removed and replaced with a hand puppet animatronic like Bon-Bon or Bonnet. A funtime counterpart of Freddy Fazbear with a Bonnie hand-puppet named Bon-Bon. He first appeared in Sister Location, where he resides in the Breaker Room.

Funtime Foxy

Funtime Chica

A funtime counterpart of Chica and accompanied with Funtime Cupcake. She first appeared in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator, where she can be purchased from the Catalog for the pizzeria. She was the only Funtime counterpart to the classic four that was absent in Sister Location.

Bidybab

Miniature animatronics who resides with Circus Baby from the Circus Gallery location. They first debuted in Sister Location.

Minireenas

Bon-Bon

“An animatronic hand puppet with a Bonnie design that typically appears on the right arm of Funtime Freddy. He seems to have a calming effect on the Funtime Freddy animatronic. Bon-Bon has a female counterpart named Bonnet.” — The Ultimate Guide, page 264

Bon-Bon is the hand puppet companion of Funtime Freddy. They first appeared in Sister Location alongside their owner.

Electrobab

The alternate variant of Bidybab and appeared in the Custom Night Mode add-on for Sister Location. Bears no canon lore to the universe whatsoever.

Bonnet

A recolored variant of Bon-Bon. She first appeared in the Sister Location's Custom Night Mode.

Lolbit

It is a recolored version of Funtime Foxy, first appearing in Sister Location as an Easter Egg from the main game but also appears in the Custom Night Mode as a custom character.

Music Man

A cymbal-crashing animatronic who first appeared in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator, where he can be purchased from the Catalog for the pizzeria.

Amalgamations

Ennard

Main article: Ennard

“A terrifying amalgamation formed from the "scooped" Sister Location animatronics (Ballora, Bon-Bon, Circus Baby, Funtime Foxy, Funtime Freddy). Ennard does not wear a typical plush suit, instead entering the body of Michael Afton. After abandoning Michael, Ennard was mainly controlled by Circus Baby. When the other animatronics kicked Baby out, Ennard was split into Scrap Baby and Molten Freddy.” — The Ultimate Guide, page 268

Ennard is an amalgamation of all of the Circus Baby's Pizza World animatronics. It first appeared in Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location but does not show up until the last level - Night 5.

Molten Freddy

“A crumbling amalgamation of animatronics (Ballora, Bon-Bon, Funtime Foxy, Funtime Freddy) formed after Circus Baby was ejected from Ennard. Eyeballs from the various animatronics can be seen poking out at random.” — The Ultimate Guide, page 275

Molten Freddy is the remains of Ennard after Baby had been expelled, with the consciousness of Funtime Freddy in control. He first appeared in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator.

Tangle

Main article: Tangle

Tangle, also unofficially named as The Blob, is an animatronic amalgamation that appears in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach as a secret antagonist. It has the face of Funtime Freddy but with black eyes and pinkish red glowing pupils. Its body is a large black mass made of tentacle-like wires.

Fate

Near the end of Sister Location, the four main animatronics in Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental (Circus Baby, Ballora, Funtime Freddy, Bon-Bon, and Funtime Foxy) merged into an amalgamation called Ennard, with Circus Baby in charge. After using Mike's skin to escape, it posed as him until it rotted to the point of being unusable and was abandoned. Some point afterwards, Baby was expelled from Ennard, and Funtime Freddy took charge, becoming Molten Freddy. Baby rebuilt herself and became Scrap Baby.

Following Ennard's escape, Funtime Chica, and Music Man also escaped from Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental.

Later in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator, Molten Freddy, Scrap Baby, Funtime Chica, and Music Man are lured to the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place with the help of both Mike Afton and Henry Emily. During the completion ending of Pizzeria Simulator, the Pizza Place burned down along with any animatronic inside and the souls of the Funtime Animatronics were presumably set free. The site was later built over by the Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex. Whether Molten Freddy ended up becoming Tangle is currently up for debate.

The only other Circus Baby's Entertainment and Rental animatronics to not end up in Ennard/Molten Freddy (Bidybab, Minireena, Bonnet, Electrobab, and Lolbit) presumably escaped after Ennard, Funtime Chica, and Music Man did and their fates are currently unknown.

Speculation

"I was the first! I have seen everything!" This section archives a lot of theories and speculation, which usually occurs from pre-release media, or just things that are still unknown, so please keep that in mind while reading. The page will continue to be updated with the most accurate information as more solid evidence is supplied.

While many claim that the main funtime animatronics are possessed by the kids they captured and killed, there is no reliable evidence to determine that Ballora, Funtime Freddy and Funtime Foxy are actually possessed. Ballora, Funtime Freddy and Funtime Foxy are possibly haunted by Elizabeth Afton's agony, a power that secretes intense emotions such as rage. This causes sentience in infected objects. It's possible that the funtime animatronics are one of the products of William Afton's experiments with remnant. A popular theory is that the Funtime Animatronics have the Remnant of the original children killed by William Afton, injected into them before the last one of the End-of-Night Minigames (FNaF3). There are multiple suggested possibilities as to why Funtime Chica was the only Classic counterpart not present in Sister Location. One theory suggests that she was rented out and active inside another restaurant, likely at the Chica's Party World location mentioned on scottgames.com. Another theory suggests that Funtime Chica was the springlock suit present in Night 4. It's also possible she was built at some period between Sister Location and Pizzeria Simulator. Seeing as she was never explicitly mentioned to have the same child-capturing capabilities as the other Funtime animatronics (and in fact has no liability risk rating), and she did not become a part of Ennard, it's possible she was from a different line of Funtime animatronics or built for a different purpose.

Trivia

• Helpy and Security Puppet have designs that are similar to the funtime animatronics, however it is not confirmed if they belong to this class.
  • Mangle was the first known animatronic to be given the "funtime" alias as Mangle's fixed counterpart is called Funtime Foxy. Mangle is not directly connected with the funtime animatronics, however, as Mangle and the Funtime Foxy from Sister Location are separate animatronics.
• Baby, Funtime Freddy, Funtime Foxy and Bidybab are the only funtime animatronics that appeared in the novel trilogy.
  • And only Baby, Ballora, Minireenas, Funtime Freddy, Funtime Foxy appeared in Fazbear Frights.
