Fruity Maze is one of the three important minigames to purchase and play in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator.
Access Requirement[]
Purchase the Fruity Maze Arcade from the Catalog's "Stan's Budget Tech" section for $150.
Playthrough[]
Main Gameplay[]
The player controls a little girl and has to collect all of the fruits (oranges, cherries, and grapes) within a time limit. The time limit is extended the more the player collects fruit. There are also power ups the player can use:
- Magnet - Attracts nearby fruit and power ups to the player.
- Lightning - Makes the player run faster.
- Cape - Allows the player to pass through borders.
Secret Gameplay[]
After the player successfully collects all the fruits, the minigame will become more decrepit the next time they play. The orange fruits are replaced with dead dogs and the music slows down. The girl in the background Susie, will have a sad frown and start to tear up.
After the player has collected all of the items for a second time, the minigame will become more distorted and disturbing: Lightning power-ups are no longer accessible, the dead dogs are now mutilated, the two other fruits are replaced with coffins and flowers, the music grows even slower, a large number of Spring Bonnie figures will randomly appear immune to the player, the player girl now leaves a trail of blood puddles behind, and the time will run out no matter how far the player makes it. This time, William Afton in a Spring Bonnie suit will appear behind the now mournful Susie. When the game ends, William convinces her to follow him:
(In blue text) "He's not really dead."
(In yellow text) "He is over here."
(In blue text) "Follow me."
The minigame is no longer playable afterwards.
Theories and Speculations[]
"I was the first! I have seen everything!"
This section archives a lot of theories and speculation, which usually occurs from pre-release media, or just things that are still unknown, so please keep that in mind while reading. The page will continue to be updated with the most accurate information as more solid evidence is supplied. |
- The player of the minigame, Susie, is theorized to be one of the victims in the Missing Children Incident who would later go on to possess Chica.[1] This is seemingly confirmed in Coming Home, where Chica takes the spirit of a murdered girl named Susie.
- Given Mr. Cupcake's dog-like behavior in the film, it's possible that he is possessed by the spirit of Susie's dog.
- Another theory is that Susie's dying dog would later become Mangle. The dog appears to have one of its eyes missing, much like Mangle.[1]
Trivia[]
- The arcade's design suggests that the game supports 1-4 players. This is also the case for "Midnight Motorist".
- Playing Fruity Maze along with two other lore minigames will unlock the Lorekeeper Certificate.
- Spring Bonnie is referred to as "
FunBun
" within the game's codes. - Presumably, the disfigured dog bodies, pink flowers, and box-like coffins are metaphors to the Susie's own dog she lost before, much to her stricken grief. William Afton convinces her that her dog was found alive as a way to lure her away and murder her.
- The minigame's screen background art is drawn by LadyFiszi.
