The Freddy Fazbear Head is an animatronic mask and a core game object in few Five Nights at Freddy's games, first used in Five Nights at Freddy's 2.

Physical Description

The mask is an empty Freddy Fazbear head, albeit with a lack of bottom jaw and both eyeballs. The mask resembles Withered Freddy's in design. In Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted, it is replaced with a plastic Freddy mask. In Five Nights at Freddy's AR: Special Delivery, it is, once again, redesigned to resemble Freddy Fazbear's classic design, now having a bottom jaw.

In the Halloween DLC of Help Wanted, there is an alternate version of the Freddy mask with both eye-sockets merged together.

Usage

Revealed from the second game, the Freddy Fazbear Head was supplied after complaints were filed "about the (animatronic) characters trying to get into the Office" by a previous security guard. It is used to fool almost any animatronic that enters or tries to enter the security guard's Office into believing that the player is an animatronic themselves. The only animatronics it does not fool are Withered Foxy and The Puppet.

Jeremy Fitzgerald and Fritz Smith from the second game are the only identified users who have been known to use the mask.
