Foxy is one of the playable characters in the Freddy in Space series. He can be unlocked after rescuing him from the Lunar Mines in Freddy in Space 2 and completing the Meme Cavern stage in Freddy in Space 3: Chica in Space.

Physical Appearance

Foxy is a fox with red fur. He only has one visible eye, which is yellow. His other eye is covered by a black eyepatch. He sports a green vest with a yellow stripe on it. One of his hands have been replaced with a hook, while the other has been replaced with a flamethrower. His legs are grey and metallic, implying they're cybernetic implants.

In Freddy in Space 3: Chica in Space, he is now visibly repaired and gains a tail, he now sports a yellow and white bodysuit with yellow accents.

Role

Freddy in Space 2

Foxy is a commander in Freddy’s crew. During his absence, he was overseeing the Lunar Mines, but he got abducted and brainwashed by L.O.L.Z.H.A.X, who locks him in a cage guarded by Franken-Foxy. After getting rescued by Freddy, Foxy helps him rescue the others and his son.

Freddy in Space 3: Chica in Space

During a mission with the group, Foxy, Freddy, Bonnie and Mangle are kidnapped by Scott Cawthon. After Chica rescues him, he helps her find the other members and defeat Scott.

Trivia

• Even though the entire game is set in space, Foxy does not wear a space suit.
• The cybernetic feet implants is a reference to an old theory on Star Fox were the crews supposedly had cybernetic replacements for their legs to use their Arwings, tanks, etc. Coincidentally, Foxy has the same species as Fox McCloud, the main protagonist of the franchise, who’s also friends with a bird and a rabbit (Falco Lombardi and Peppy Hare, respectively), just like Foxy.
• Foxy shares his victory screen with Chica.
• Based on L.O.L.Z.H.A.X’s dialogue before fighting Rocket Fox, the Lunar Mines is the first place Freddy went, thus making Foxy the first character he rescued.
