The Flashlight is a vital in-game tool item used in the Five Nights at Freddy's series, first used in Five Nights at Freddy's 2.

Physical Appearance[]

From the original Clickteam era series, the Flashlight is not normally physically seen in the games due to the first person perspective. In games where a flashlight does have a physical appearance, it is usually depicted as a large black generic flashlight.

Usage[]

The Flashlight, while mostly used for seeing through areas in pitch darkness, can usually halt or slow down the animatronics, but has limited amount of battery life.
