Trivia[]
- Brian Churilla, the comic artist and writer of Hellboy and other comic series, revealed some of his tryout arts for the graphic novel, as tweeted on September 9, 2020.[2] His illustrations ended up being declined by Scholastic Inc., and Claudia Schröder was later chosen to do the art. Brian Churilla's art seems to be illustrated in an electrifying style.
- Claudia Schröder herself did the coloring for her illustrations at first, as revealed from the review copy at SDCC 2019. For reasons yet unknown, Scholastic rejects her coloring and decided to hire Laurie Smith to color her illustrations for the novel's final release.
- On August 18, 2021, Claudia revealed some of the pages from the book on her website[3] on how they looked like before they were rejected and scrapped by Scholastic.
- Like Fazbear Frights 1: Into the Pit, the graphic novel was released on December 26, 2019, as well as early renders were available.
- The graphic novel had to be exactly 192 pages, limiting some scenes.[4]
