New Features
  • Animatronic hitboxes are updated to be proportionate to an animatronic's size. Shorter characters like Bon-Bon, Plushtrap and Balloon Boy will have smaller hitboxes.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixed bug where Bon-Bon T-poses in Funtime Freddy's animations.
  • Fixed up Funtime Freddy's workshop animation so that his eyes glow properly.
  • Allowed Funtime Freddy to be affected by remnant milestones.
  • Fixed bug with Jack-O-Chica's 3D profile icon so that her eyes didn't hollow out.
  • Fixed the Ballora soft-lock glitch during battles with Golden Freddy.

  • The Dread of Winter daily rewards event begins. Every day for the next month, players are given daily rewards such as Faz-Coins, remnant, parts, skin/character lures and various other items when they log into the game. Different characters and skins get a day to be featured on the shop.

  • Illumix launches a photo booth contest for the new year titled "January Jubilee", with lures, Faz-Coins and other rewards at stake.

May 2021 Updates[]

The major gameplay update that had been teased since March 2021 is released, with many new features including:

  • New animatronic UI encounter layout.
  • New leaderboards.
  • An animatronic's durability and attack strength can be seen before an encounter.
  • Animatronics now have increased durability, taking multiple shocks to be defeated. This depends on both the strength of the shocker and the animatronic's overall durability.
  • The player also has increased durability, thus doesn't get immediately jumpscared when attacked by an animatronic. Instead, the animatronic swipes their arm at them, decreasing some of their health.
  • A run button is introduced, allowing players to escape an encounter.
  • A shield mechanic is introduced, allowing players to block attacks to protect themselves.
  • Buffs are introduced, allowing players to strengthen their shocker, shield and battery life.
  • Lootboxes are added and are optional to purchase on the store, containing buffs to help amplify defense from animatronics.
  • XP is introduced, allowing players to level up and gain buffs. Whether the player wins or loses an encounter doesn't matter; they will still get XP either way. This replaces the streak system, which is still around, but has very little usage aside from gaining an extra increase in XP.
  • Balloons of Freddy's head are added, and are seen whenever a player levels up.
  • Endo-01, Freddy, Chica, Bonnie, Foxy and Circus Baby are given new attack and defeat animations.
  • The old encounter layout is still around for every other animatronic, as well as all the skins.
  • The previously event exclusive Mangle, Ballora and Plushtrap are brought back and can now be encountered normally.
  • Players need to reach a certain level to get certain animatronics to spawn on the map.

  • The Heart Stoppers Event begins.
  • Two new animatronic skins, Heartsick Baby and Black Heart Bonnie are added.
  • The appearance of the event tokens are altered to match the event, now colored red with a heart on them.
  • The previously removed photo booth returns, now allowing players to rotate and zoom in on animatronics, taking better quality pictures of them.

  • The new photo booth is teased.

  • The second new animatronic skin, Arctic Ballora, is added.
  • Illumix reveals and launches a community quest, with the goal being to collect enough event tokens. In exchange, a new character would arrive.

After a couple of delays (first originally August 2020, then the end of September), a major gameplay update is added, which includes:

  • Adding blue question marks scattered around the map instead of red ones with Freddy Fazbear heads, showing special deliveries where you can find animatronics, collect remnant and get rewards This allows players to come to the animatronics instead of the animatronics coming to them.
  • Animatronics now have a scanning function, showing each animatronic's level of perception and aggression before the encounter.
  • Remnant deposits can be found on the map.
  • Rewards arrive in Fazbear Entertainment balloon parcels.
  • Since animatronics can no longer encounter the player by themselves, using Faz-Coins to speed them up is also removed.
  • Animatronics now have a chance of being for someone else, therefore avoiding the encounter altogether.
  • The EM Jammer is no longer buyable from the store and is instead a way of rejecting an animatronic.
  • Part of the animatronic's workshop animation is shown above the perception and aggression meter.

  • The Halloween 2020 Event begins.
  • The map is updated, now filled with cobwebs and spiders crawling over the screen.
  • The first new animatronic character, Jack-O-Chica is added.
  • The shop is updated, now colored orange. Jack-O-Chica is on the shop's header with leaf-less trees and a full moon over a purple sky as the background.

New Features
  • New features for the salvaging mechanic are added:
    • Sets a timer for the player to see how long the animatronic's salvaging will last.
    • Receiving an automatic notification once it returns.
    • The Salvage emails are removed in order to make the inbox less cluttered.
    • Everything the animatronics find is rewarded in the workshop when they return - retrieve it by tapping the gift box.
  • A notification will pop up, informing which friend has sent the animatronic for the player.
  • The player now has the option to swap out one of the three daily challenges for another every day.
  • Freddy Frostbear returns for a short time during the Christmas in Spring event.
  • The Easter 2020 Event begins.
  • The map is updated, having a bright pink colored hue.
  • A new custom skin animatronic, Chocolate Bonnie is added.
  • The shop is updated, now colored pink. Chocolate Bonnie replaces Freddy, Chica and Bonnie on the store, holding a basket of eggs with more colorful eggs behind him.
Bug Fixes
  • A lot of "Out of Order" bugs are fixed (rewards not given) as a way to make it happen with less often.

  • Devices can now be purchased from the Device Screen.
  • Remnant acquired through the Gift Box now count towards Remnant Milestones.
  • Salvage rewards are now batched together. The players will only get one message per salvaging period with their combined discoveries if they got their animatronics salvaged.
Bug Fixes
  • Addressing errors from the Workshop, including broken animatronics still salvaging, etc.
  • Fixed more "Out of Order" issues that prevents rewards from getting delivered.
  • Addressing Balloon Boy's stalking time.
  • Addressing higher-than-normal Crash Rates on some devices.

March 12, 2020[]

  • The St. Patrick's Day Event begins.
  • The first custom skin animatronic, Shamrock Freddy is added.
  • The map is updated, having a rainbow shining on the top left corner.
  • The shop is updated, now colored green. Shamrock Freddy replaces Freddy, Chica and Bonnie on the store, holding a pot of Faz-Coins with another gigantic pile of the gold behind him.

  • Faz-Coins now can be earned by watching advertisements, with 10 coins given from each ad.
  • The map and shop are updated, now colored purple.
  • Freddy is now holding a heart-shaped box of chocolates on the shop. His nose can also be honked as a throwback to the series' previous installments.
  • Presents in the later event will have a broader range of gifts.
  • The new animatronic character, Toy Freddy is added.

  • The new animatronic character, Toy Chica is added.
  • Another new animatronic character, Freddy Frostbear was added, but not revealed yet.
  • Gifts and goodies are received every few hours.
  • Christmas themes and decorations are added, with a map filled with snow.
  • The store is updated with a Christmas and snow theme, along with the background being replaced with a snowy landscape and Freddy holding a present.
  • The animatronics within the Workshop can now be rotated.
  • The player's personal animatronics now benefit from up to 100,000 Remnant.
  • Remnant spawns have been adjusted to assist with clarity, making it easier to determine which Remnant is more valuable.
  • Animatronic repair costs have been significantly reduced so that the player should almost always see at least a little bit of Parts profit by sending animatronics out, even if the player is not defeating animatronics in camera mode.
