The Scott Games series is the original Five Nights at Freddy's series of point-and-click survival horror games by Scott Cawthon which precedes the modern Steel Wool series. The series debuted on August 8, 2014 with the release of Five Nights at Freddy's.
The series was made using Clickteam Fusion 2.5, and the first four games were solely developed by Scott Cawthon with the beta-testing help of his sons. From Sister Location to Ultimate Custom Night, Scott Cawthon hired a music composer, more voice actors, and several artists.
Each game in the Scott Games series can be found on Steam, App Store, Google Play, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch platforms.

Trivia[]
- Scott once deconfirmed the fifth game with the following announcement of FNaF World. The third game was originally intended to be the final game of the series since Scott initially planned the series to only be a trilogy. However, due to the negative reception the third game received, Scott decided to make the fourth game, and eventually the fifth game.
"Four games. One story." teaser
- In a Steam post on August 25, 2015, Scott discussed how the community had been able to solve the story around the first three games at the time, with the exception of the fourth game, which Scott said no one had been able to solve. Scott said that he found it incredible and special that the story of the fourth game had escaped the players, and that it was a fitting conclusion to the series.
- When asked what inspired Scott to make the first FNaF game, he said that he had been suffering from a very deep depression at the time due to criticism of his previous games. A lot of the criticism was that Chipper & Sons main character was designed to look like a scary animatronic. Because of this, Scott thought he was capable of making something much scarier than that.[1]
- According to Scott, despite his previous games being heavily influenced by his Christian faith, he said that FNaF was just a horror game with no Christian message.[1]
