Five Nights at Freddy's: Fazbear Frights #12: Felix the Shark is the twelfth volume of the Fazbear Frights series. Written by Elley Cooper, Kelly Parra, and Andrea Waggener with Scott Cawthon, it was released on April 19, 2022 as a bonus alongside the third Fazbear Frights box set. While the physical version is exclusive to the box set, a digital version is sold separately. This book contains scrapped stories from the main Fazbear Frights series that were originally supposed to be in the other main eleven books. While this book is the core finale of the series, it is not connected to the main Fazbear Frights timeline and thus serves as a book bearing scrapped content.

In this twelfth volume, Five Nights at Freddy's creator Scott Cawthon spins three sinister novella-length stories from different corners of his series' canon. These tales may have ended up on the cutting room floor while developing the Fazbear Frights series, but they bring no less terror in the telling.

- On April 8, 2021, the existence of an upcoming third box set was confirmed, and it was revealed that it would have contained a twelfth book containing scrapped stories.
- On April 9, 2021, Scott Cawthon posted a comment on Reddit, stating that, while a physical version of the book wouldn't have been sold outside the collection, he would have found a way to make fans easily get it without having to buy the whole series again, probably as an ebook.[1]
- On July 23, 2021, the book's title is revealed.
- On October 5, 2021, the book's description is revealed, and a digital release is confirmed.
- On October 19, 2021, the book's cover is revealed.
- On April 19, 2022, the book is released for digital purchase.
