Cyril's Mother[]
Cyril's unnamed mother has a very close bond with her son. As a result, they are both picked on by bullies, being called freaks. Cyril plans to help his mother with day-after Christmas sales but is called away by Greg.
Mrs. Peters[]

Mrs. Peters is Greg's elderly neighbor that lives three doors down. She's skinny. On the way back home from the abandoned Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, Mrs. Peters calls out to Greg from her covered front porch and the two say hello before Greg continues on home. Later, Greg considers asking her to give him a ride to warn Uncle Dare, but never gets the chance to ask her.
Jake McNally[]

Jake McNally is a four-year-old who Greg babysits on the weekends. On a picnic, Jake is scared of a big rubber spider. Greg buries the rubber spider into the ground, which satisfies Jake. Later, Jake goes to Hawaii with his family for Christmas.
Mrs. McNally[]
Mrs. McNally is Jake's mother and close friends with Dare. Dare uses his close friendship with her to get Greg the babysitting job. She and Jake travel to Hawaii for Christmas.

Mr. Jacoby[]

Mr. Jacoby is a visiting teacher from Grays Harbor Community College who teaches Advanced Scientific Theory at Greg's highschool. He is tall and lanky with unruly red hair and a freckled nose. Mr. Jacoby is also said to look nerdy, and at some point wears a blue checked short-sleeved shirt under a red-and-blue argyle sweater vest. He is an enthusiastic teacher who is full of energy and undaunted by disinterested students.
One day, Mr. Jacoby begins teaching the class about the Zero Point Field. Greg is excited to learn that the class will be covering the quantum vacuum and misses some of his lecture due to both his excitement and his crush on Kimberly Bergstrom. Two days after Christmas, Mr. Jacoby begins lecturing about REGs in relation to the Zero Point Field. He manages to get a small REG and assigns partners to do some intention experiments with it. Greg and Kimberly get partnered together, which Greg believes may be a result of his own experimentation with intention.
Manuel Gomez[]
Manuel Gomez is a transfer student from Madrid, Spain. He transferred into Greg's school a couple weeks prior. After Greg gets his first texts from Fetch, Cyril introduces him to Manuel. Manuel offers to help teach Greg Spanish and the two exchange numbers right as Cyril's bully, Trent, approaches. When Greg quotes Henry James to defend Cyril, Manuel comments that he likes Henry James as well and the two bump fists. Later, Greg tries focusing on his Spanish homework and texts Manuel for help. He doesn't respond and Greg quickly realizes Fetch may have interpreted the text as instruction to retrieve Manuel. Greg learns from Cyril that Manuel lives about a half mile up the street from Cyril, and after getting Manuel's address Greg quickly bikes to his house. He's initially worried when he finds the front door open and muddy paw prints, but is relieved to see Manuel with his pet dog, Oro. Manuel explains that he left his phone inside, and he helps Greg improve his Spanish while he plays with Oro.
Trent White[]
Trent White is Cyril's bully and, much to Greg's surprise, a student in Advanced Scientific Theory. One day, Trent approaches Cyril and insults him and his mother. Greg tries defending Cyril by quoting Henry James, which gets him called a freak by Trent. Later, Hadi overhears Trent telling Zach that he's afraid of spiders. Greg meets Trent again when he and his project partner, Rory, kick Greg and Kimberly out of the science lab to work on the REG.
Rory[]
Rory is a school athlete and Trent's project partner in Advanced Scientific Theory. Greg is shocked to learn he is part of the class.
Unnamed Police Officer[]
A middle-aged, unnamed police officer questions Greg about breaking into the restaurant. He tells Greg that he forgot all about the pizzeria and asks if it's still there. He then puts Greg in his SUV and takes him to the police station.
